Buildings projects for performing arts are complex and unique structures due to the challenging technical needs along with representation of cultural and artistic expression. The spheres of activities at an art center are vast and varied. Lahore is the cultural capital of Pakistan with a rich historical context. This art center will be a “whole complex” that aims to provide a hub of cultural activities for artistic expression and public entertainment through music, theatre, festivals, literary events and programs for educational institutes. An art center is a building complex that provides space and opportunity to artists for expressions of visual and performing arts such as painting, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, film, music and drama.

The Art Center on the edge of the Lahore Main Ferozepur Road and is occupied with art, ecology and people.
As a building within which art is displayed to a notion of a structure that is populated with art. The idea is to find a more immediate and direct relationship between the container and the contained.
the Art Center will be created by an array of pixels forming the exhibition spaces. Pixels are stacked, merged or separated to create a diversity of use and experience needed for the Art Center.
The Art Center will be grand and will make it humane and accessible, a sublime presence without being overpowering to the city or the viewers.
the experience‐ every exhibition and every show will become an opportunistic challenge for the curator in finding a dialogue between the art and the space. visitors will become explorers; art will become immediate as it disperses across the Art Center and the site.
