A Message From the President
Greetings Aquinas Community,
Well, here we are, back again to tackle all of the undertakings that go into making up a school year at Aquinas. 2024-2025, who would have ever thought we would be talking about years with these types of numbers? When I was a litlle boy I would watch movies about the future that depicted the year 2020 like we were living in outer space! Yet here we are, in spite of AI doing just about everything, we still have no flying cars and shoes that you still have to tie yourself. In all of these things that change or stay the same, we can count on one constant, Aquinas High School.
Nearly 70 years after its opening Aquinas is thriving We now welcome nearly 650 students, unlimited collegepreparatory course offerings, and a facility that is arguably unmatched. 2023 saw the opening of the Janice Lemann Center for Visual Arts and The Steinmann Family Innovation Center These state-of-the-art facilities will allow us to contuse education young Falcons for years to come The 2023-24 “Together We Can” campaign raised nearly $20,000 for various safety enhancements and infrastructure repairs around our sprawling campus. The 2023-24 school year we saw our fundraising opportunities continue with great success. The Aquinas Classic golf tournament raised a record-matching $45,000, Casino Night was a successful with a $50,000 night, and our scholarship dinner brought in over $300,000 to aid some of the neediest in the Aquinas community.
Lastly, on behalf of the entire Aquinas community let me say thank you again to all of our wonderful supporters and those who give tirelessly of their time, talents, and treasure to ensure the legacy of Aquinas High School
