Whether you choose to drop your son off at school, have them walk, cycle, catch public transport or use the College provided bus services, you will find all the information you require here to assist.

How to get a SmartRider

Aquinas College is a Transperth participating school that automatically processes Student SmartRider applications for all new students from Year 4 onwards. The College receives the cards and issues them to students. The timeframe takes approximately three weeks from commencement at the College.

Lost SmartRider

Please visit the School Office and a new SmartRider card can be ordered for the cost of $10.00 per card. It takes approximately one week to receive the new card. For Buswest users please purchase interim pre-paid cards at a cost of $10 for 5 rides.

Aquinas College provides private charter bus services for our students via Buswest. Buswest has made transport even easier by partnering with Transport Me Your son can use their SmartRider card for safe, cashless convenience, and parents can access the user-friendly GPS System for real-time location. Safe and Respectful Behaviour on Bus Travel

All Aquinas students are required to adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. As representatives of the College, students must: be courteous and respectful at all times follow all safety directions given by the bus driver on Transperth services: Students must offer seats to adults on Buswest services: Remain seated while the bus is in motion and wear seatbelts where available avoid any behaviour that may distract the driver or other road users not eat or drink on the bus not cross the road in the teardrop area in front of buses

How to Catch the Bus After School

Students will line up inside the teardrop gates for each bus service in order of Junior School, Middle School and then Senior School students Before exiting the gate, the duty teachers will check students in line for their SmartRider or interim Buswest card Students without these can be denied service.

Pedestrian Access

No pedestrian access is provided down the m driveway. The pedestrian gate is near the teardrop, at the end of Mt Henry Road.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Student drop-off and pick-up occurs via the main College car park, located on the left after entering the main entrance. The car park provides designated “kiss and drop” and general parking areas

Parents and students must follow signage and exercise patience to maintain safety. Students are not permitted to picked up from the teardrop of Mt Henry Rd), the back of College, or grassed areas
