GETTING TOAQUINAS ISEASY!

INTRODUCTION

BEHAVIOUR

All Aquinas students are required to adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. As representatives of the College, students should:

Be courteous and respectful at all times

Follow safety directions at the request of the bus driver.

Remain seated at all times and wear seatbelts where available.

Not engage in any behaviour that may distract the driver or other road users

Not eat or drink any food or beverage at any time (unless permission is granted).

Students are not permitted to cross the road in the teardrop in front of buses

TO CATCH THE BUS FROM SCHOOL

Students will line up inside the teardrop gates for each bus service in order of Junior School, Middle School and then Senior School students

Travelling to and from school couldn’t be easier with Aquinas College being well positioned near major arterial roads and multiple public transport options. Our local community has dedicated cycle lanes on some larger roads and well maintained treelined footpaths

Whether you choose to drop you son off at school, cycle, or use the College provided bus service, you will find all the information you require here to assist.

SMARTRIDER

Students from Year 4 and above are eligible to utilise Buswest services.

Permission outside this age range must be requested in writing to our Head of Junior School.

All students are eligible to be issued a Student SmartRider when they commence school. A Student SmartRider is required to use any public transport, including College provided Buswest services

If students lose or forget their Smartrider, they are to purchase a replacement card and a temporary pass from the School Office.

Before exiting the gate, the duty teachers will check students in line for their SmartRider. Students without their SmartRider can be denied service.

BUS

Choose from either Transperth or Buswest.

Please see overleaf for important information.

WALK, BIKE, ESCOOTER
