The Aquinas College Foundation Council sends its best wishes to our College community during this difficult time.

Foundation News Welcome Hello from the Foundation On behalf of the Foundation Council, I hope you and your family are safe and well at the moment.

As the College continues to support our boys and their families through the ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic, the Foundation has put together the following update to let you know the various ways we will continue to support the College and the community over coming months.

Annual Appeal to Alumni

Looking Forward

We are currently working on our 2020 Annual Appeal to provide bursaries to students as increased levels of hardship continue in the WA community. We will provide further information about how you can help over the coming weeks.

Fingers crossed, as we make our way out of isolation in the second half of the year, the Foundation looks forward to hosting the following community events:

Class of 2020 Scholarship Gift The Foundation will continue to work with the Class of 2020 to progress this important program which provides a two-year, half-scholarship for a boy who otherwise would not be able to attend Aquinas College, commencing in 2021.

Building Fund Appeal

Boatshed Renewal Project

The Foundation’s Annual Building Fund Appeal continues for those who have capacity. The College and the Foundation appreciate these are tough times for many, so thank you to the families who have been able to contribute. Your donations will provide support for the College, ensuring the continuation of our important facility maintenance and redevelopment programs to assist learning.

Tax Receipts for the 2020 Building Fund Appeal will be issued via email in the last week of June.

Since April 2019, the Foundation has worked with the College to raise funds for the new rowing facility. Thank you to everyone in the community who has contributed to this project over the past 12 months. In late March, we were pleased to report the long-awaited commencement of the build. Under the original time frame, this fully-funded, long standing College project would be nearing completion now, but a series of administrative delays held us up for one year. We look forward to bringing the community progress updates over coming months.

• 2019 Leavers’ Breakfast – where we welcome back the Class of 2019 and present graduates with their College Annuals • 2020 Welcome Parents Evening – where we welcome our 2021 new parents to the Aquinas College community • Annual Thank You Function – our opportunity to thank our donors and volunteers for their support during the year • Arts Plus Foundation Ball – we look forward to issuing a new 2021 date for the Foundation Ball and providing our community with an opportunity to celebrate together If you would like further information about any Foundation activities, please contact me via foundation@aquinas.wa.edu.au or 9450 0799.
