Freeride, echt Leidenschaft!

When runs are not enough any more, the lovers of freeride can discover a world of trails through woods and incredible open spaces! Thanks to the different exposures of slopes in this area you can find descents on fresh and powdery snow, humps, natural jumps and chimneys throughout the winter months! Remember, however, that freeride skiing is not suitable for everyone and requires great skill and experience! Unnecessary risks are no fun!

In off-piste skiing, precautions are never enough: carefully consider snow conditions, slope stability and the danger of avalanches.

Wenn die Abfahrten nicht mehr genug sind, bieten alternative Pisten durch Wälder und über unglaubliche Freiflächen Freeride-Fans genau das Richtige!

Dank der unterschiedlichen Lagen der Abhänge gibt es Abfahrten mit frischem Pulverschnee sowie Buckelpisten und Pisten mit natürlichen Absprüngen und Vertiefungen in diesem Gebiet den gesamten Winter über! Es darf allerdings nicht vergessen werden, dass Freeride nicht für jeden geeignet ist, da es viel Erfahrung und großes Können erfordert! Unnötiges Risiko einzugehen ist kein Vergnügen!

Abseits der Pisten ist höchste Vorsicht geboten. Die Schneebedingungen, die Stabilität der Abfahrten und die Lawinengefahr müssen genau geprüft werden.

A world of adventure on the snow Eine Welt voller Abenteuer im Schnee

This area boasts 60 kilometres of well-packed runs with guaranteed snow, at an altitude between 1404 and 2357 meters. The long skiing season starts in late November on the snow of Passo Rolle and continues until after Easter. A world of snow at the heart of the Dolomites, where you can enjoy, bend after bend, a spectacular environment together with some tasty stops at mountain dairies and huts along the slopes. Up to 45 km of ski runs are devoted to Carosello delle Malghe: an ideal combination of slow skiing and slow food. A paradise for those who love freeriding, telemark skiing and snowboarding. There are three snowparks: the Colverde Snowpark, lit up at night, the San Martino Snowpark and the Rolle Railz Park.

Moreover, there are 30 kilometers of tracks dedicated to cross country skiing, with trails in the wood of San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle, Passo Cereda and Calaita Lake.

The “Ski Arena Le Peze” in Imer is lit up at night.

For families, don’t miss the School Camps in Prà delle Nasse and at Kinderland on the Tognola Alp. A practical skibus service takes you to the skilifts, with stops in all of the preceding villages.

Dem Skifahrer stehen 60 Kilometer bestens präparierte, auf 1.404 m bis 2.357m H. gelegene Pisten mit Schneegarantie zur Verfügung. Die lange Skisaison beginnt Ende November auf den verschneiten Hängen des Passo Rolle und dauert bis nach Ostern. Eine Welt aus Schnee im Herzen der Dolomiten, in der Sie Kurve für Kurve die fantastische Landschaft und die köstlichen Rastpausen in den Almund Schutzhütten entlang der Skipisten genießen können.

Ganze 45 Pistenkilometer hat das Carosello delle Malghe zu bieten: die perfekte Kombination aus Slow Skiing und Slow Food.

Das Ski Area San Martino di Castrozza - Passo Rolle ist ein wahres Paradies für Freeride-, Telemark- und Snowboard-Freunde. Es gibt drei Snowparks: Colverde Snowpark (abends beleuchtet), San Martino Snowpark und Rolle Railz Park. Dürch dei Wälder um San Martino di Castrozza, am Rolle-Pass, am Cereda-Pass und am Calaita-See verlaufen 30 Kilometer von Loipen für Klassikläufer und Skater. Die „Ski Arena Le Peze“ Strecke in Imer ist beleuchtet.

Für Familien gibt es Übungsplätze beim Prà delle Nasse und dem Kinderland auf der Alm Tognola.

Ein komfortabler Skibus fährt bis zu den Skiliften mit Haltestellen in allen Dörfern vor den Anlagen.

The evenings in this marvellous corner of Trentino start with the thrill of a snowmobile ride, taking you to a enchanted woodland for a toast between the snow-loaded trees. Die-hard ski fanatics can ski by night, along the illuminated pists of Colverde, Nordic Skiing fans can enjoy the starry sky on the illuminated circuits until late in the evening.

The Nature Park provides countless opportunities to discover nature, culture and Alpine history through guided routes, museums and tasting of typical products at the local farms.

The Nature Park received in 2014 some important awards: the 2014 Excellence Certificate by Trip. Advisor and the coveted two stars in the Dolomites Guide of the Italian Touring Club.

Mountain bike lovers can try the new San Martino Bike Arena: served by the Tognola cable car, the route is equipped with artificial structures and dedicated walkways, parabolic curves and acrobatics jumps that allow riders to have fun safely in front of the majestic sight of the Pale di San Martino. Try the DH UNO track, the new DH DUE, the Valsorda Enturo Trail and Enturo XC Trails which run from the Tognola Alp reach the green Vanoi Valley.

Dolomiti Lagorai Bike

The Dolomiti Lagorai Bike area covers the Mountain Bike region with 1100 km of off-road trails.

The trails which have been sign-posted in the area, invite MTB enthusiasts to explore the areas uncontaminated territories which lie above 2000m asl in the heart of the Lagorai chain, comprising of wilderness filled summits and porphyritic rocks, which retain water in numerous mountainous lakes. Dolomiti Lagorai Bike aims to enrich its route network with numerous local services for MTB enthusiasts including: accommodation, bike shops, bike rentals, ski lifts, bike transport, MTB schools, guides and instructors. All routes are digitalized with GPS technology and sign-posting.

Gourmet events in Summer Sommer Gourmetvehantstltungen • CheeseNic (July-August) • Andar per Malghe • #Albeinmalga (July-August) Since the time of the Venetian Republic, butter used in Venice traditionally came from the mountain pastures of the Primiero Valley, just below the peaks of the Pale di San Martino. Known as “botìro” in the local dialect, it was of outstanding quality. A small local cheese producer has recently revived the ancient skills of butter production, and since 2009 is one of the 177 Slow Food Presidia in Italy.

Innerhalb unserer Berge sind, wie in einem Schrein, kostbare Schätze aufbewahrt. Einer davon ist die Almbutter - der sogenannte Botìro -, die zu unseren besten Produkten zählt. Die beste Butter, die zur Zeit der Serenissima in Venedig zu kaufen war, kam aus den Almen des Primiero-Tales. 2009 wurde die hochwertige Qualität dieses Produktes offiziell anerkannt: der Botìro di Primiero di malga zählt heute zu den 177 Slow-Food-Produkten Italiens. Dieses Molkereiprodukt steht also als Symbol für eine Kultur, eine Tradition, in der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart durch die Düfte und die Farben der Bergblumen eng verbunden sind.
