Você já ouviu falar sobre o “sono clean”? A novidade vem conquistando adeptos, como a atriz Gwyneth Paltrow, que propaga aos quatros cantos os bons resultados na saúde e na beleza de uma noite bem dormida.

Segundo médicos endocrinologistas do Grupo de Obesidade e Transtornos Alimentares, da Universidade PUC, do Rio de Janeiro, o “sono clean” é uma expressão para designar o sono profundo. Ele é quem ajuda na desintoxicação e oxigenação do corpo, que acontecem durante 4 a 6 horas no período do sono, sem a ajuda de incentivadores artificiais, como remédios para dormir, por exemplo.

Os cientistas ainda afirmam que para chegar a esse estágio de sono profundo, o indivíduo precisa de umas 8 horas de sono, das quais se espera que a metade sejam profundas.

E quando não alcançamos esse nível? Daí surgem os “zumbis” do dia seguinte, com muito mais fome do que o normal, pois é como se o corpo não tivesse desligado. Portanto, faça um chá quentinho, abaixe as luzes, desligue-se da Internet e ajude o seu corpo a descansar. Sua saúde agradecerá.

Have you heard about “clean sleep”? The novelty has been winning fans, like the actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who propagates to the four corners the good results in the health and the beauty of a good night’s sleep.

According to endocrinologists of the Obesity and Eating Disorders Group, at the PUC University in Rio de Janeiro, “clean sleep” is an expression for deep sleep. It is the one that helps in the detoxification and oxygenation of the body, which happens for 4 to 6 hours in the sleep period without the help of artificial stimulants such as sleeping pills, for example.

Scientists still claim that to reach this stage of deep sleep, the individual needs about 8 hours of sleep, of which half are expected to be deep.

And when we do not reach that level? Then the “zombies” of the following day appear, with much more hunger than normal, because it is as if the body had not turned off. So make hot tea, turn down the lights, disconnect from the Internet, and help your body rest. Your health will thank you.
