Lambda Chi Alpha ΛΧΑ
Lambda Chi Alpha was the first fraternity on Appalachian State's campus. In 2021 our chapter won a national award for raising over $30,000 for our educational foundation. Our chapter also donated over $20,000 to Appalachian State's food pantry. We have a lot of famous alumni like Harry S. Truman, Kenny Chesney, and Bill Rasmussen. Our chapter received our charter in 2018 which in turn our alumni provided a banquet in the Grandview Ballroom overlooking the stadium and the mountains. We have an annual philanthropy event called Lambda Chi Bald Guy where brothers volunteer to shave their heads. We raise thousands of dollars for Habitat for Humanity every year through this event.
