The Painted Horse Winery and Vineyards off Bethany Road has been the subject of a rift between the city and neighbors as the businesses seeks several permits allow the venue to continue hosting a variety of gatherings. The owner has argued the events are “grandfathered” because the site has hosted them since well before the city’s incorporation. However, the city has taken an opposing stance, and several neighbors have complained of excessive noise and traffic these events have caused over the last year. Read more, Page 4.
