Retired U.S. Air Force Capt. Bill Robinson, the longest-held enlisted prisoner of war in American history, addresses a crowd at Newtown Park in Johns Creek Sept. 19 during a National POW/MIA Day ceremony. Hall’s helicopter was shot down by enemy fire in fall 1965. He spent the next seven and a half years in various prisoner of war camps in North Vietnam.
