Sister Hazel rocks Newtown Park JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Despite scattered rain, ’90s alternative rock band Sister Hazel drew a crowd of around 1,600 to Mark Burkhalter Park Amphitheater in Newtown Park on Aug. 4 as part of the Johns Creek summer concert series. The band performed older hits like “All For You” and “Your Winter,” which was featured in the movie “10 Things I Hate about You.” Johns Creek concertgoers were also among the first to hear

the song “Small Town Living,” which will be included on the band’s EP “Wind” which will be released Sept. 7. The band members said they enjoyed seeing long-time fans introduce the music to their kids. The next installment of Johns Creek’s free summer concert series will be Friday, Aug. 31 with the United States Navy’s bluegrass ensemble, Country Current. – Carson Cook
