Fire Station 11 now operating

FORSYTH COUNTY/SPECIAL

Fire Station 11, located at 4655 Pittman Road in west-central Forsyth County, began operations Sept. 28. The 12,000-square-foot, four-stall station was funded by local impact fees and SPLOST 6 funds with a total cost of near $4.3 million. In 2018, the county received a federal grant to support the hiring of 12 new firefighters to man the station.
