The holiday season brings plenty of excitement and enchantment around every corner at Avalon. Avalon kicks off the holidays with the famous Lighting of Avalon on Nov. 18, 2018. As Avalon transforms into a wonderland of holiday sights and sounds - four exciting new experiences await you at The New Hotel at Avalon. The Hotel at Avalon makes magic with an experience exactly like nothing else! Gift little ones the memory of a lifetime with a Tuck-in with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Remmber to book overnight accommodations at The Hotel to secure this special opportunity. It is one not to be missed.
Celebrate the holiday season at Avalon in Alpharetta If you’re looking to share a merry and memorable meal, Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 2, 2018, is the perfect chance to spend the morning with Old Saint Nick over a Southern spread of morning bites and activities for both parents and kids to enjoy. This is sure to be a jolly, holly-day! Families can also spend the afternoon at The Hotel at Avalon with Mrs. Claus over a spot of tea. High Tea with Mrs. Claus will be offered Dec. 9 and Dec. 16. Young ladies and gentlemen enjoy sweet tea, and tea sandwiches made for little fingers in addition to Christmas crafts and storytime. After the holidays have come to an end, wrap up the year with an early celebration at Avalon’s inaugural Noon Year’s Eve party inside The Hotel at Avalon. This family-friendly event invites partygoers of all ages to ring in 2019 with a giant balloon drop to welcome in the New Year! The Hotel at Avalon is the perfect place for a chance encounter with Santa, an unforgettable New Year’s Eve event, and every holiday treat in between.

The most magical season of the year is finally here, and Avalon in Alpharetta is once again North Fulton’s home for the holidays. From shopping to photos with Santa to Avalon on Ice and more, the mixed-use destination offers a truly special holiday experience for guests of all ages. Ringing in the holidays with a bang, Avalon will host its fifth annual Lighting of Avalon on Sunday, November 18 from 1 to 8 p.m. Presented by Northside Hospital, the festive celebration will feature activities for the whole family, including face painting, photo booth fun, ice skating performances, live music and more. Then, at 7 p.m., Santa will light the magnificent 40-foot tree with the community to kick off the perfect holiday at Avalon. Avalon’s Rockefeller-inspired ice skating rink will officially open to the public during The Lighting of Avalon and welcome skaters of all ages through January 21, 2019. Admission is $18 per adult or $14 per child under nine, including skates. Group rates and season passes are also available for purchase. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 7 p.m. Santa will take up residence in his North Pole-inspired cottage from November 19 through Christmas Eve. Using RFID tags which can be activated at Santa’s house or Concierge, parents have the opportunity to personalize each visit. Reservation appointments are full, but walk-ups will be accepted. Thanksgiving at Avalon offers families a chance to create new memories. Avalon on Ice and Regal Cinemas will be open, plus, several restaurants will offer holiday specials. On Black Friday, be sure to return to Avalon for great shopping deals, activations and more from retailers and restaurants along The Boulevard. On Sunday, December 2 from 5 to 6 p.m., join Avalon and Chabad of North Fulton for the second annual Chanukah celebration. The evening will include a traditional Menorah lighting ceremony as well as refreshments, music and entertainment for all ages. Other exciting holiday experiences at Avalon include Story Time with Santa each Monday beginning November 19, Pet Nights with Santa each Tuesday starting November 20, Breakfast with Santa at Chick-fil-A Avalon on December 15, and Breakfast with Santa at Oak Steakhouse on December 16. Finally, Avalon will host its inaugural Noon Year’s Eve celebration at The Hotel at Avalon on Monday, December 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guests will enjoy live music, face painting, crafts and a countdown to Noon with a giant balloon drop while welcoming in the New Year. Tickets are $15 for adults and children over two. Avalon’s holiday hours, including on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, will vary by retailer or restaurant. On Black Friday, Avalon will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The week leading up to Christmas, Dec. 17 through 23, Avalon will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Christmas Eve, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. To plan your holiday experience at Avalon, visit experienceavalon.com.
