ROSWELL, Ga. — When the polls closed at 7 p.m. on Election Day in Roswell, candidates gathered with supporters to watch the results roll in. City Councilwoman Sarah Beeson, facing her first re-election bid, joined L yndsey Coates and Michael Del Cerro who were seeking two other slots on the council at an election party at Sunny & Ranney on Oak Street. By the slimmest of margins, Beeson held off challenger Jason Miller by 133 votes for the Post 1 seat.
