Social Work

Study the science and art of promoting and protecting the health, safety and well-being of communities and populations alongside experienced faculty with a rural health focus. Receive training to lead interventions and social action through community and coalition building, the promotion of environmental and systems change, and advocacy for inclusion of health in all public policies.

Prepare for social work careers in which you'll help individuals, families, groups and communities; provide services; and advocate for human rights and social and economic justice in a variety of human service agencies, as well as other public and non-profit organizations and institutions. Gain real-world experience with a semester long internship.

Speech-Language Pathology

Expand your knowledge as a nurse educator and leader. Upon graduation, you’ll be able to teach using simulation, implement staff development strategies and maximize patient care. Graduates of the MSN program are eligible to take the Certified Nurse Educator exam.

Help others find their voice and communicate effectively. Study the prevention, evaluation and management of human communication disorders in a variety of settings. Gain real-world experience under the supervision of practicing speech-language pathologists.
