Collaborators and Curator Profiles

Gallery VER is an artist-led initiative, with the intention to bring forth a collective stream of ideas and dynamism in how contemporary art and culture are defined and viewed. Through exhibitions, projects, one-off activities, events, and institutional exchanges, it seeks to initiate strands of programming under the best possible processes. The gallery space provides and supports a discursive platform that invests in both artists and curators to realize innovative exhibits and projects relevant to artistic and conceptual practices.

Bangkok Citycity Gallery seeks the excellence, supports the emergence, and encourages the potential. Open to all forms of artistic creation, the gallery combines the intrinsic qualities of form, information, and transformation into art production which serves multiple objectives of art as advocacy. Founded by Op Sudasna and Supamas Phahulo in 2015, situated in the heart of Bangkok city, Bangkok Citycity Gallery has fused conversations, communities, and pluralities of contemporary culture into a hybrid of commercial gallery and project space. In 2016, in partnership with Studio 150, Bangkok Citycity Gallery co-founded Bangkok Art Book Fair. In 2018, the gallery founded OPEN FIELD, a non-profit organisation, to support knowledge production and contemporary culture. Ghost:2561 is the first initiative supported by OPEN FIELD. 59

Nova Contemporary aims to cultivate the reciprocal exchange of Thailand’s contemporary art and culture to southeast Asia and beyond. We pride ourselves in showcasing both established and emerging artists through our diverse programme of exhibitions and event — with a primary focus on exceptional Thai artists. It is our hope to bring art education to the general public and contribute to Thailand’s ever growing vibrant art community.

Dusadee Huntrakul (b.1978, Thailand. Lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand) While he is not busy guest-lecturing, raising an almost two year old son, growing things by parking lots, or making his own art, he curates exhibitions that he truly wants to see.
