TONI’S SHOW WITH DJ TONE DEAF

Sundays, 10:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

DJ Tone Deaf believes there is no such thing as bad music, which is why she plays a little something for everyone. She is passionate about giving underappreciated music a platform and giving visibility to new and old favorite tunes. Guests are often featured in the studio to talk about listeners’ hot takes, roommate drama, or embarrassing stories.

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE WITH PENNY LAME

Fridays, 12:00–2:00 p.m.

The Road to Nowhere with Penny Lame is a sonic journey that starts on the airwaves, and takes you to another universe. Penny is a genre-bending hostess with the mostest, providing non stop tunes to make you feel like a special flower. I always tell the girls, never take it seriously, if ya never take it seriously, ya never get hurt, ya never get hurt, ya always have fun, and if you ever get lonely, just go to the record store and visit your friends.

NOONISH ATTITUNES WITH DR. PEPPER

Tuesdays, noon–2:00 p.m.

An eclectic mix of new wave, metal, outlaw country, and modern alternative/indie music, inspired by whichever mood the Tuesday brings. I am so grateful for my time at KWVA and the strong community we built. This has been the best part of my college experience, and the people truly make the place a home!

ME & MR. JONES WITH DJ NEUHAUS

Saturdays, 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Me and Mr. Jones is an eclectic and educational mix of nostalgic, funky, foreign and modern tunes spanning from 70s Italian disco to modern French rap accompanied with informational commentary from yours truly, DJ Neuhaus. In the wise of words of Boyz II Men “it’s so hard to say goodbye”, I will miss the vinyls, the stench of old stereos, Ali’s laugh but most of all the DJs and music lovers who made our “dungeon” in the EMU a palace in my heart.

CRABS?! WITH DJ JOHNNY PARK

Thursdays, 10:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

It’s the Mesozoic Decapod Revolution! With a new theme weekly, there’s always something for any crustaceans to listen to. I’ve had so much fun working at the radio station! it has helped give me a creative outlet that fits perfectly into my busy schedule. anyone even considering becoming a dj should try it out.
