A Place Called Home provides a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in the arts, education and wellness for the young people in South Central to help them improve their economic conditions and develop healthy, fulfilling and purposeful lives.
The APCH GirlPower Program empowers young women to overcome societal stereotypes and traditional gender roles, to stand up for themselves and advocate for others, and to pursue their aspirations with rigor and vigor.
“GirlPower means a community of trust that stems in sisterhood.”
- Aneliz G.
Kathryn Frazier, deemed “the rockstar whisperer” by The Guardian is an ICF Certified Life Coach, and CEO/founder of the revered PR company, Biz 3. Kathryn founded Biz over 27 years ago with just a desk in a borrowed closet in a Chicago bar while also working full time as a restaurant server. Now, Biz 3 operates nationwide with a staff of national publicists, and over 200 clients ranging from popular musicians like The Weeknd, Lil Baby & Lauryn Hill to sports, tech, restaurants, and more.
Frazier is known for being selective with projects, only taking on campaigns that she deeply believes in. Biz 3 has a reputation for breaking unknown artists and helping them become critical darlings. In 2011, Frazier co-founded OWSLA, an independent record label, with Skrillex. Kathryn has also become a certified life coach, using powerful questioning to help people get to the best versions of themselves and their careers. She has decades of experience in the business world and in personal development, making her coaching services valuable to both personal and executive clients. She has worked with clients from all walks of life, including CEOs, college students, musicians, and tradespeople.
She is ICF certified in Coaching and is currently expanding her expertise in addiction/recovery coaching and relationship coaching. Frazier’s future plans include a podcast series and putting out her first book on Co-Parenting which is in its final edit currently. She is currently on the board for the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC).
