ApaNa Magazine is dedicated to promoting sustainability, responsible business and social engagement in the Caribbean.
The second issue of ApaNa magazine focuses on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to which the Caribbean member-states committed in 2015 and their progress to attaining the SDG targets associated with those goals.
We also cover one of the goals SDG 12: Responsible Production and Consumption and how SDGs are impacting businesses' view of corporate social responsibility. We also look at volunteerism and the SDGs and included interviews and stories from people and organizations to gain some insight into what they are doing towards achieving the SDGs, their responsible business practices and community engagement.
In light of the current global impact of the coronavirus pandemic, we also discuss how philanthropy can support nonprofits in communities.
