Selamat Datang! – – koutou katoa! Tena Welcome To Wonderland! On behalf of the ANZA Committee, I would like to thank every one of you for joining our annual charity ball, which is ANZA’s largest fundraiser of the year benefiting our Social Welfare Program. Thank you to all the sponsors who have generously contributed to this evening, supporting our fundraising efforts and bringing to life our vision for a colourful and whimsical event. We have a fantastic line-up of raffle prizes and silent auctions, which are displayed in the foyer area. Our Card Soldiers will be circulating the room, selling raffle tickets. Not only do you have a chance to win some marvellous prizes, but every rupiah donated will go towards helping underpriviledged communities across Jakarta. Also in the foyer is our photo backdrop, so make sure you visit to create a memento of this evening. Tonight is a culmination of many, many months of hard work and dedication by our volunteers, some of whom are now overseas. Thank you to every volunteer who has pitched in to make tonight a reality. We hope you have a wonderous and whimsical evening.
Emmaleen Murray ANZA President

Anza Social Welfare Program For more than 40years, ANZA has been helping some of the most impoverished and underpriviledged communities across Greater Jakarta via our Social Welfare Program. It is a legacy that our members and volunteers are proud to continue. Tonight’s event is our largest annual fundraiser and the money generated from our raffles and silent auctions, can influence the number of projects we can support in the coming year. Every rupiah counts and together we can make a difference in many lives.
Student Sponsorship Program
This year marks the 30th anniversary of ANZA Student Sponsorship Program, which enables disadvantaged children to continue their education by covering their annual school fees. There are currently more than 500 children enrolled in the program.
Medical Sponsorship Program
ANZA works with Yayasan Citra Baru to fund cranio-facial surgery and follow-up care for children. These surgeries are life-changing for both the children and their families and ANZA sources donations from corporate sponsors, individual donors, as well as funding from the Australian Government’s Direct Aid Program to run this program.
Regular Projects
ANZA provides monthly financial and/or volunteer support to 19 projects in a number of areas including: • Orphanages • Child Health & Disability Support • Elderly Support Projects • Education Support Projects
One-off Projects
ANZA regularly receives requests for one-off funding or donated goods. In the past 12months this has included: • Fit-out of an accessible bathroom at Yayasan Heesu, a care facility for children with significant physical disabilities. • Contribution to Lombok Earthquake Relief
Project Monitoring
ANZA Social Welfare Committee is a team of dedicated volunteers, who assess requests, regularly visit projects and ensure funds are being used for intended purposes. For more information about ANZA Social Welfare visit our website or contact socialwelfare@anzajakarta.com
