Renata Polastri is a Brazilian type/ graphic designer and founder of Estúdio Bogotá , an office focused on packaging and editorial design. With the office, she received national and international awards as well as participation in the Graphic Design Biennial.
Specializing in typography at the University of Buenos Aires, she is the author of the Grenze typography, selected for the 8th edition of the Latin American Typography Biennial, Tipos Latinos . The font was developed in conjunction with Omnibus Type and made available on the Google Fonts platform .
Master in Design from the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais, he has research on information design, open data and data visualization. She is also an illustrator and design teacher in Belo Horizonte.
She was a winner at Tipos Latinos 2018 of a type design award for Grenze (2017, free at Omnibus Type), an angular 18-style typeface family that grew out of her project Cuatro at FADU UBA.
In 2020, she published the blackletter typeface family Grenze Gotisch at Github / Omnibus Type, and Google Fonts.
