Horas, After a long day of travel, one thing that never missed out in the itinery is, “What do we have for lunch? Even amongst the Medanese, food is always a diverse subject in the family. Growing up in an extended family, gatherings over food has been a regular agenda in our household. As young as 7 years old, I have been brought to many eateries and restaurants together with my aunt, and even till now, alongside their respective spouses’ relatives. Treat yourself for a culinary haven in Medan, from dusk to dawn, from light bites to fine dining.

RUMAH KOPI WAK NOER It was explained that both house blend coffee and civet coffee can be enjoyed immediately poured into a cup, but it would be more enjoyable if you wait until the temperature drops slightly. We begin by tasting house blend coffee, aromatic Arabic aroma and a slightly bitter taste that gives a different sensation to coffee that is usually found in Kopitiam.

COFFEE MEETS RUM

KOPI SOE by Ghea Artha

Es Roegal (rum regal) from Kopisoe is really famous. He said really tasty, well when I tried it turned out right! If you are curious how it feels like? Do you know what the custard is? Now it feels like it's really a pudding in the form of a drink. Inside are bits of regal biscuits and rum smell. Already imagine the combination as delicious as what? Not too sweet, hushed, and certainly can make full. For those who don't like it too much and can drink coffee, this is for you.

We believe that handmade drinks are not about convenience but rather savoring life through the combination of art, drama and sports. Savoring tea is the culture of our lives, and represents the vitality and depth of Taiwan’s drinks.

KOKUMI Unicorn lovers, unite — here’s the boba for you. Aside from the newly-launched brown sugar boba and cheese tea plus smoothies, Kokumi specializes in colorful drinks such as the Unicorn Drink (blueberry and dragon fruit topped with cream foam, which is surprisingly delightful), Rainbow Stardust (colorful lemonade), and the Unicorn Latte, basically a hot latte topped with unicorn-shaped foam(!). It’s currently one of the most popular chains in town, so prepare to queue longer on weekends.

At first, the co-founder of Kokumi, Jacqueline Karina herself had a desire to share happiness with others through the results of her efforts. But I felt confused how to convey it. "The purpose is to spread the happiness, but I can't write a book, I can't draw, so I see the talent in making food and drinks. So from there I want to convey a message of happiness to many people, "she explained when met by Moneysmart in Kuningan, South Jakarta on October 26, 2019. The message is visualized from the Unicorn logo and the colorful drinks that are on each brand glass. This point can also be a differentiator of this brand with other similar drinks on the market.

“Good environment in Medan, hard to find a cozy place with suitable prive like this cafe. - Josephine N Reviewer

Jl. Uskup Agung No.2, Madras Hulu, Kec. Medan Polonia, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20151, Indonesia

Hang out pretty or want to eat in a place with a comfortable atmosphere and cool interiors you can find in this one cafe. Carrying a modern minimalist theme with an industrial touch, Junction Cafe is too dear to miss. Circular lights of different sizes decorate the ceiling which is very attention-grabbing. The minimalist design is achieved by combining white and wood elements in the furniture to make the atmosphere inside this cafe so cozy and homey.

NEW URBAN EXPERIENCE COFFEE-DINING Article by Natramaharani

This Junction consists of three parts, namely Junction cafe, Louise Patisserie, and Coffee Perspective. All are connected in one large building and dominated by white paint. So everything you're looking for is actually already here starting from the bakery, coffee shop, and cafe. The roti shop, Louise was nicely arranged here. You don't need to go far if you buy bread. All in one place. There is also a second floor for the other side of the cafe. Really cozy cozy hangout spot in Medan. To the outside there are a number of neatly arranged benches and monstera plants. Plus tendrils of leaves spread from the roof. Really, the outer area is very beautiful and beautiful. An oasis in the middle of Medan city which is very difficult to green area. Now for the coffee shop itself has a special building next to the main building Junction. Every corner of the Junction is instagramable in a beautiful sense for photos. The space is quite large and Junction has its own private spot if we want to hang out for large groups (more than 10 people). Fusion menu from Western and Asian. Actually I've been here 3 times, and dare I say the food here is average to be tasty even though it's a bit pricey. A LATE NIGHT CULINARY TOUR AT THE LONG SELAT PANJANG

Weekend in Medan, it will not be enough just to go around the city. Don't worry, Medan has a series of exciting culinary spots like Merdeka Walk and four other regions. For you adventure candidates who want to travel to the city of Medan, you will surely be preoccupied with information seeking, making an itinerary, and so on. One of them by entering the list of the most famous or national culinary places because of certain menus. Culinary tourism is one of the plans that should not be missed when visiting one place or city visited. For those of you who are still confused about what culinary tour when you go on vacation to Medan, I will share a little for you culinary tour with halal to non-halal food, low to high budget.

Only a 5-minute walk from the Jalan Semarang area, you can also have a culinary tour in this area which also provides other delicious food. Such as Halal Chicken Rice, Chinese Food, and so on. For snacks available snacks in the form of cookies and

wet. The food menu here is halal & non-halal available. So research before ordering food. If Semarang has Semawis Market, Medan has a long strait road. Yep, along this road there are many delicious culinary specials of Chinese who are

certainly kicking on the tongue. Some stalls here use ingredients from pork that are not recommended for Muslims. One of them is Tiong Sim Noodle which is a favorite of many people. This shop is located at Jalan Selat Panjang No. 7 New Markets. There is a large writing in front of the shop that facilitates the search. Which is always waiting for from any culinary in any region, yes that night culinary. Every

time to an area must be ready stomach ready for dinner arrived. Never go home before being full (really!>. <). This time in Medan I ate on Jl. Long Strait which is well known for its night culinary both for tourists and locals. This Strait of the Long Strait is very small, along the road it contains restaurants on either side and the road only makes one car pass and one way. So if you have walked until the end

is still confused, you have to play again. It's better to park in front of the big road, then walk into the long strait street. Let me choose the food even more freely back and forth. Along the way all the food contents, certainly many choices! From vegetable rice, porridge, rice noodles, satay padang, snacks like buns, apem cake (tete cake), until martabak dishes are all here!
