As a result of different social studies of the riverside area of Madrid, the ROM emerges. The final project of my architecture career is an effort to improve the life of the large number of people who are currently living in poverty situations along the city of Madrid.
Thought to be a community spot with all the services required for people living in the street, or under bridges along the Manzanares river are provided: homes, food, teaching, leisure, religion...
The materials and the structure of the complex are low budget, intended to be constructed fast and to give the building the possibility to grow quickly in case of big arrivals of people such as humanitary emergencies.
