THE BADGER The Badger is a fierce animal, very much respected and honored both in Northern American Native traditions and in European Celtic ones. A badger will not let go and will continue tenaciously to look for another way to tackle his/her goal, just like a good healer will not let go of his/her search until the best solution is found for the person in need. Badgers have their homes underground, so that they can go to the roots of things, the good healer does the same and keeps looking until she/he can find the most profound reason for a dis-ease or a psychological issue. We use the term healer in the very broad sense of somebody who takes care of another person, be it a MD, a nurse, a psychotherapist, a physiotherapist, a masseuse, a spiritual healer. Whenever there is a person in need and somebody who takes care of her/him, that is a healer. Sometimes the need is subtler and more profound than a simple medical intervention, the human touch is needed and it really is the Panacea that cures all diseases. We believe all artistic expressions in their beauty, science for everyday life, spirituality, philosophy, food and the healing arts are beneficial to restoring that balance, health and sense of worth that each and every human being deserves. We offer you THE BADGER, the persistent healer, all the articles come from experts in different fields, each person has his/her own idea of what a balanced life is, they are here to pass on information, give inspiration, receive your comments, suggestions, contributions. Each human being holds in his/her hands at least one of the keys, let's continue our quest!

ROCKING TO THE SKY Honoring Francis Rico
Francis ‘articles always opened THE BADGER with their strength, enthusiasm for life and vision for our highest potential to be realized here on earth. Even if we had never met in person, Francis’s presence and friendship have left a strong impression on my life. We were both students of Joseph’s Rael; he had the fortune of working with him and creating great videos that preserve and share the beauty of Joseph’s teachings and Francis’s respectful approach to them. Every change of season it was always a pleasure to receive his warm and light generating pieces with his encouragement to live fully and be the best we could be, thus engaging ourselves in life at the height of our possibilities. I felt supported and carried on by his example, our conversation never ceased, until he communicated that, due to his serious physical condition, he needed to concentrate on his life and could not lead his journeys to Mexico, nor write for THE BADGER. I hoped he would eventually bounce back to full health, but his condition took him away in a short time, leaving us without his constant warm light of joy and his unique way of sharing the mysteries of life. Dear Francis, great rock and roll musician, spiritual teacher and respectful student on the immaterial path of spirit, you will be missed by many. May your journey be filled with smiling light, like your life.

MEETING FRANCIS I knew about him and, eventually, I met Francis Rico a few times. The first time was at Ghost Ranch, in Abiquiu, New Mexico, where I had accompanied Dad to bless a body of water. Dad asked me to go as his medicine helper. At that time, I was employed full time, but one never tells him, “No, I’ve got too much going on, I’m unavailable”. A fire ceremony was created by my Uncle Eagle on the 7th of the month, for the Fire Ceremony, where Dad would talk to the attendees. There was also book signing, organized by his publisher Paula Millichap; on that occasion, Francis was the videographer. Amid all the activity, I had the opportunity to speak with Francis. He had a lot going on, inspired by his upbringing and teachers such as my father. He gave me his business card; so, I bought one of his books and, later on, I visited his web site, shamanzone.com. I attended a number of his very inspiring online classes over the years. Once I saw a painting of the Virgin Mary surrounded by Golden Honeybees hanging behind him. I told him about the Corn Pollen ceremony that came to me in 2023. Spirit and a Bee Kachina brought it to me to bring to the People. After the Zoom call, I asked him if I could have a screen shot of the painting, he sent me this image where Corn Pollen is pollinated by the Bees and with the Virgin Mary who brings the feminine balance to the world. This is how we return to balance, per my father Joseph Rael Beautiful Painted Arrow (conversation to me/2017) and His Holiness the Dalai Lama (Lions Roar magazine 2017.) The second time we met was during another book signing in Durango Colorado. I missed his annual home trek and teachings from his loving visits to Teotihuacan, Mexico. He was quite the spiritual light, a huge presence that will most certainly be missed by thousands of light seekers ….

THE JUNGLE SINGS As announced in our previous volume, The Badger points its attention on all the aspects of life and all the arts that can support real growth in the world. This month The Badger shares the first eco opera in the world by Aldo Brizzi, Gilberto Gil and Paulo Coelho, 3 giants of culture, music and spirituality that have teamed up to give relevance and an amazing stage for the indigenous plight to be seen and heard worldwide. In this interview, Aldo Brizzi himself tells us how this opera came to be in Belem, Brasil, in the lower Amazons. I am really happy to share here the new opera just composed and less than a month after its world premiere in Brazil at the beginning of the COP 30. As usual I was impressed by the simplicity Aldo used to describe this great feat of courage: a new opera about native people with indigenous people on stage!
A.Vicini
I-JUCA PIRAMA Aldo Brizzi This opera started from some conversations between me and Paulo Coelho, we were having some conversations about other topics, when Paulo came up with the idea of the poem I-Juca Pirama, by Gonçalves Dias, published in 1851 and considered (somewhat with contempt) as an Indianist poem. At first, I was perplexed, but later I realized that it was the perfect topic to reflect and center the action on the indigenous tribes still present in Brazil and in the world. The story of the brave warrior who is chosen as a human sacrifice by the victors, with his desire to return to his father who convinces him to go back, thus regaining a heroic measure and once again worthy of sacrifice, is expanded to the present day, by the texts of Paulo Coelho, who brings its dilemmas into the everyday world.
THE PLOT OF THE OPERA: PROLOGUE The opening is on Gilbert Gil who shares a dream/prophecy on what will happen. He is the tribal storyteller, sharing ancient stories and dreams that are very important because they are a vehicle for communicating and transforming reality, or possessing reality through dreams, which is an indigenous technique that is still used today. Nature is all around in its beauty and lush abundance. A modern I-Juca Pirama appears, together with real indigenous people engaged in an ancient ritual behind a screen. In video, besides Gilberto Gil, also Paulo Coelho talks about these events and announces the arrival of the Spirit of the Earth: her cloak covers the whole earth. When Gilberto Gil sings a song on the torched jungles of today, the native people keep doing the ceremonies in a forest that is burning away and disappearing in front of us.
PART 1 I-Juca Pirama has fallen asleep and, when he wakes up, the plot follows the poem by Gonçalves Dias, set up before the conquest of Brazil. There are some added characters, like a young girl who starts to fall in love with I-Juca Pirama, the prisoner due to die as a sacrificial victim. The prisoner asks to be left free, to visit his old and ailing father, but since this is considered the request of a coward, I-Juca Pirama is let free and sent away from the village.
PART 2 The action returns to our time with a television crew interviewing the modern I-Juca Pirama at the center of his destroyed village. Among songs of revenge and a duet between the moon and the spirit of the earth, the action slowly returns to ancient times. The old father and the son return to the tribe, eventually he is recognized as a valiant warrior and accepted as sacrificial victim. After the sacrifice, what is left is the memory of the brave warrior and the dreams that will be shared in the last part of the opera. In the last 10 minutes, the protagonist becomes memory, the tale is shared among many villages thus it remains alive. Until it transforms into a text about dreams (our original piece) with which the opera ends, in the same way it started.
THE INDIGENOUS CONNECTION The idea of starting and ending with a dream was tailored on the way the indigenous people make their decisions, so that the native people participating could feel at home, as they did on stage. We made three trips to prepare for the opera; these trips were a direct consequence of the composition of the work. We wanted to get in touch with the indigenous people portrayed in the opera and, at the same time, to study how we could shed light on how to involve indigenous communities within this story, and how this story could serve to generate ideas and a profound value from their presence. First, we had a whole series of meetings. In March 2024, we spent 10 days in a Tupi community in the state of Rio de Janeiro. There we encountered some truly disastrous situations: Indigenous people are now “civilized”; however they live in very precarious ways, trying to negotiate a difficult balance between modernity and their ancient ways. During our second trip, we went to Belem in September 2024. There, instead of tribes, we found our theatre. We were lucky to meet Ursula Vidal, the state secretary of culture. She asked us to show this opera at the Cop 30 in 2025: Paulo Coelho had the original idea for this opera and Ursula Vidal had the idea of hosting it at the opening of Cop30. After that, we made our third trip, this time finally looking for indigenous communities. We were looking for people who still live according to ancient knowledge, as if it were an absolute necessity. And we found them at 1,000 km from Manaus, towards the upper Rio Negro. We were with a Tucana community, where they live as they did before the Portuguese arrived. We had the impression of being in the happy America before the arrival of the Portuguese invaders. There we witnessed various rituals, especially the relationship between ritual action and beliefs. In our enterprise we were supported also by Bu Bu Kennedy, who is both an artist (his work is shown in many art galleries around Brazil) and a traditional curandero (shaman) for the Tucana people; he looked after all the costumes for the indigenous people who were on stage with us. Yes, these costumes were made with tree bark the people found even further away, almost at the border between Brazil and Colombia, where the trees grow after the bark is cut. This bark is ritually chewed for three days by the Tucana women; they create a paste that is then transformed into the skirts the indigenous people were wearing. It was an incredible job, never before has an opera been presented with costumes like this, not only eco-sustainable, but at this level. The only issue is that these costumes are now returning to nature… dissolving under my eyes! During the same trip, we also went to see another Shaman of the Uniquin people, whose origins are from Acre (a remote state of Brazil). She lives inside the forest, an hour away from Manaus; where she has a healing center. She explained many things; in the end she did some dances and had an incredible stage presence. I asked her to find us the right cast for the opera among the indigenous people. She chose a cast of 6 people; among them 2 guys and 2 girls had never left their reservation. These people came and gave incredible emphasis and strength to the opera. They brought the truth to the stage, a different truth, which worked perfectly within our project. Every day they created the traditional paintings worn by all the singers on stage; it was an 8-hour laborious process done with plants and flowers they had collected in the jungle; these paintings were an integral part of the costumes.
They were there the whole time, disciplined and with perfect posture as spiritual warriors, they stole the scene, giving a glowing example to both the audience and the rest of the cast. We were very lucky because we had six extraordinary people: five Brazilians, one from Peru, Inti, a descendant of the great Inca leaders. Their presence of pre Colombian America was intense and strong. The opera was performed in the theatre of Belem, a jewel of a building with magnificent acoustics. The connection between the different levels of the opera and the audience was immediate and profound, people felt the truth brought by the story and the presence of the indigenous people on stage. Working with Gilberto Gil was very pleasant and easy, this is our second opera together, now we know each other and our musical conversation was fluid and easy. It only took us 9 days to create the opera together, followed by 6 months on my side for the further work needed. As already stated, Paulo Coelho came up with the idea of using the poem by Goncales Dias, I added some characters (the indigenous girl and the spirit of the earth, as well as transforming the head of the village, the Cacique, in a woman), thus creating balance between the male and female elements of the opera.

SULLE ALI DEL DRAGO In Memory of Fredric Lehrman On Dragon’s Wings was the title of one of our most successful and exceptional workshops. It was imagined, created and led by Fredric Lerhman who passed away on November 10th 2025. That weekend has stayed in my memory all the way to this time, it was the first thing I thought about when I heard the news of his passing. This is how he left this world: on his dragon’s wings! Fredric Lehrman was a renaissance man in the real sense of the word: he was an accomplished musician, a master of martial arts, a philosopher, an expert at perusing the future and recognizing the upcoming patterns, a learned and argute writer, a great photographer, a masterful teacher and mentor for many, and more skills than I can recall. I first met him in London, where he was leading a weekend workshop based on rebirthing. I was part of the staff, so I had a chance to meet him both as a great teacher on stage and as a polite, smooth and elegant person off stage. I aimed at becoming as good as him on stage and as polished in my daily life. In the following years he came to Italy, and we travelled from north to south with his beautiful short workshops on LIFE AS ART: I learnt a lot from him about appreciating all art forms in a new and direct way. On on eof my visits to America, he was a very gracious host for me in his beautiful villa in Seattle, full of artwork and music. Time went on, one day, out of the blue, he told me that we were friends. This may seem a normal thing, but for Fred it was a big thing and for me too, we had worked together, but had never been close, so his declaration opened another door to our connection. After that we started the search for his house in Italy, that never happened, but we spent many weekends in Umbria exploring and having fun together. When I contacted him in 2014 for Volume 0 of THE BADGER, he immediately answered me, and we started our frequent long-distance conversations on many topics, from personal to professional, that enriched both me and the newly born magazine. He followed his intuition and sent articles that were always intriguing and interesting, until his brilliant, shining mind became obfuscated and he started to retire inside. But I want to remember him at his best, his smile, his sense of humor, the way he made me sit for some photos (to date the best I have ever had taken) distracting me long enough to be myself and be revealed in the photos, when he was showing us how to use some movements from Taichi, when he was telling stories about dragons and how his place was full of dragons. Dear friend and mentor, dear Fred, may the path be light and pleasant on your flight back to source.

Fredric Lehrman Here follow the tributes from people who knew and appreciated him at different stages of his life
TALL IN SPIRIT: REFLECTIONS ON FRED LEHRMAN I first met Fred in the early 90’s when he came to Italy for a seminar we organized for him. I recall his entrance in the hotel meeting room: he was tall, slim, impressive, confident yet graceful and gentle. During the seminar he had the audience mesmerized, caught in the magical energy when he shared his perception of reality and beyond. He had an original way of using metaphors to convey concepts, emotional dynamics, new perception of reality and visions of the future. Though I didn’t fully grasp all his teachings, I appreciated how his energy and perceptive approach were captivating and thought-provoking. His passing from this dimension is a significant loss for all that have known him, worked with him and learnt from him. Fred’s visionary spirit and kindness will be greatly missed in a world that seems to have lost the capacity to dream and lacks inspiration. The world feels dimmer without him.
Lida Lodi Perry
REMEMBERING FRED These lines, from the poem ‘The Layers’ by Stanley Kunitz, reflect for me Fredric’s time amongst us: “ I have walked through many lives, some of them my own, and I am not who I was, though some principle of being abides……” Talented musician of various instruments and voice, photographer, educator, communicator, philosopher, mentor, writer, storyteller, ofttimes visionary, amongst the many other varied interests he had, suggest that our relationships with him were each unique, each quite individual, whether with him or through his varied writings, courses or the presence and vision he portrayed in The Sacred Landscape. My connection with Fredric was consolidated one hot August in 1989 at a three-day event held in a large, coastal hotel in the south of Spain. The theme was ‘World Peace’. The gathering consisted of about 400 people from different countries, and the speakers gave diverse presentations. Fredric’s presentation was the closing session of this event. He simply began by asking, “Who can sing?’ and initially perplexed, a number of hands went up. Then, ‘Who can’t sing?’ and many more hands were raised! The remainder he denominated as ‘maybe’s’. He then separated us into these groups. With three assistants, he taught each group a line or harmony of “Dona Nobis Pacem’ (Grant us Peace). We then all sang together. The convergent sound of the three groups increased in volume as we continued singing together for maybe 10 or 15 minutes. The expansive resonance and harmonies and overtones created were truly spine tingling, as the vibrations streamed through us in an ineffable coherency. Gently bringing to a close our voices, and after bathing in the rich, velvet silence that followed, he simply finished the event with the words: “We all have a contribution to make”. On leaving the conference room we were astonished to find that the hotel activity had practically come to a standstill during that time. The reception area and foyer were milling with people, enticed in from the outdoor swimming pool and other areas of activity, many of whom had stood in a quiet silence and listened. There are multiple stories I could tell about him during our travels in Spain, whilst delivering different workshops or attending conferences.
Perhaps one of the more memorable events for me is our time in Granada. There, late one night, we had the privilege of being invited to the inner sanctum of the Albaicin - a small residential cave area, heart of the ‘duende’ of authentic flamenco and home to it’s gypsies. As a woman I wasn’t permitted to go any further than the enclosure and so was left to accompany the wives, seated on a soft summer night under a star-studded sky, while Federico disappeared to meet with, and listen to, the Gypsy guitarists. This was a double privilege for him, as the gypsies at that time had a deep mistrust of ‘guiris’ or outsiders, foreigners and rarely dealt with them. Another time, on our hike up to the Alhambra one hot summer’s afternoon, a craziness that required refreshment breaks, and where we eventually reached a bar for rest and yet another olive tasting. Fredric had a dedicated ‘pet’ project which consisted of attempting to discover the best olive in Spain therefore anything promising was sampled! These olives were particularly good; fat, moist, flavor-some and the memory of them was reminisced over the years! Finally, we reached the top and our destination and found sanctuary within the cool walls of this beautiful palace fortress; walls etched with histories and enjoyed the peaceful and refreshing privilege of the Patio de Los Leones, which was practically deserted at that hour. An aspect of his that some may remember were his temporary ‘disappearances’! Attracted and immersed by some fresh, unfolded potential or possibility, he would seemingly disappear and could later be found plumbing the depths of explorations in search of new knowledge or connections, apparently quite absent from what had enthused and infused him previously. Then, just as unexpectedly, he would surface once more, eager to share his findings and process; to enthusiastically contrast his discoveries and understanding. Each of us will have had a unique relationship with him and have been enriched because of it. As I know he was equally enriched by us, by our stories, our experiences and our presence. With his passing we meet with loss; a constant thread woven throughout our lives, and it is the sorrow of this loss and the unlived potential that these words bear witness to. We can no longer spend time with him. No longer share our stories, our insights, our dreams, our reminiscences. His transition leaves an empty space. However, let me tell you a last story that Fredric told me many years ago (of which I can find no cultural evidence!). It was on departure, after an intense period of working and coming up to Christmas. He related that there was a tribe - I seem to recall he said African - whose farewell words were not as ours, sounding more permanent, but were “I’m not leaving you”. I like to imagine him grinning as I relay this, quizzically wondering if we believe this story to be true or just yet another of his woven tales!
The last lines of the Stanley Kunitz poem “The Layers” are thus;
“Though I lack the art to decipher it, no doubt the next chapter in my book of transformations is already written. I am not done with my changes” This too, speaks of Fredric to me. He was indeed a fascinating many layered being, the memory of whom will live on, as well as the contribution he made. Deepest thanks and gratitude for all that we have shared with Fredric, and thank you for having been here, with us, at this time in our evolution.
We are not leaving you…

A SNAPSHOT I’d like to share a snapshot, a first impression I had when I organized for Fred in Genova, Italy. It’s a short and fond memory of my first experience of him as a person, in the early nineteen nineties. The sky was getting darker and darker; it looked like it would rain later. We had a presentation at seven pm, where people would meet Fred, ask questions and hopefully enroll for the weekend class. “On Dragon’s Wings “was the title Fred had chosen for the workshop, not exactly your run of the mill topic, in a sluggish town that didn’t know much about rebirthing, energy work, or dragons for that matter. The view from Castelletto, (an area of Genova) up on the hill was stunning. We had the whole of the medieval part of town at our feet. Beyond there was the harbor and a sky full of clouds. Genova tends to get paralyzed when it rains, so I shared my concerns with Fred: rain meant fewer people would come. He was perfectly at ease and smiling proceeded to invite me to clear the sky, sending the clouds away. Whatever Fred taught I would avidly want to learn, though I had never heard of moving clouds. Much of what he taught was rather unheard of anyway. It worked, the sky cleared, plenty of people came to the presentation and the workshop was fabulous. To this day I still clear the sky when necessary and think of him every time.

MEETING FRED I met Fredric Lehrman for the first time in Jan 2019 during a break-up session when I took the Vision Seekers shamanic workshop by the late Hank Wesselman. We talked more and more over the course of the next 4 months. Fred was a fascinating soul who travelled the world teaching various concepts and awakening modalities. At the end of that workshop, five of us decided to stay in contact, and for the next 4.5 years, we met almost met weekly, talking about everything spirituality, what’s new in our lives, and more. When I started my podcast, Spiritually Inspired, in April 2020, Fredric was my first guest. He also accepted the invitation for interview #100. I consider these two interviews time capsules for those who met him and knew him for the gentle soul he still is. Each week we heard stories about Terrence McKenna, Ram Dass, or how his Chinese Tai Chi teacher stopped time during one of their classes to prevent a student from getting hurt. And let’s not forget about his fascination with dragons. Fredric learned Tai Chi and self-defense, so he could avoid being overpowered by his younger brother. He told us this story with so much love. Then, there is the moment in Manhattan when his steps stopped in front of an art gallery. His gaze was attracted to a small painting he had to know about. It was a depiction of Mt. Reinier in Washington state. He bought it several months later and it led him to the other side of the country where he lived until the end of his physical life. We are all blessed to have met him, read his books, and be amazed by the original ideas he lived by. Much love, our friend, from all of us, wherever you are."

POETRY NIGHT FLIGHT The moon, white crescent in night blue above red that only sky can hold; Sacramento below, a net of dusty gold struck with tiny gemstone lights. The land black to the horizon; the window of this jet a time-lost Hiroshige print. The flying life above the floating world, strings of cities ordered in time, not space, between departure and arrival. What is written on the land?

Ode to Water… That Mysterious Magician Having no form, you are easy to recognize, as you are transparent, infinitely adaptable, conforming to every shape you find, sharing motion with whatever encounters you, lending yourself to change by your very nature. Solid when cold, a vapor when hot, you travel without passport. Rising from deep in the earth, your gentle or ferocious touch shapes landscapes, dances with gravity, your form tailored to whoever you encounter. Generous, ready to slake the thirst of every living thing, you travel the sky with your sister the wind, rising towards the sun as you inhale the emptiness, sometimes disguised as cloud or fog (according to the art of “weather”), then diving back down, gentle or torrential, flirting with everchanging suitors until you return to the land. Titanic icebergs and slow moving glaciers are your disguises, silently moving until you find your breaking point and return to the sea. But it is as ocean that you rule, where fish fly like birds through canyons beneath your surface while whales and dolphins patrol the border above. Intrinsically gentle, you become immensely powerful when all your molecules move in mass integration, transferring the news of earthshake or storm to foreign shores as tsunami mountains, dreamed of and feared by entranced surfers. And yes, sometimes you take a vessel down with a rogue wave, reminding us that we rely on your mercy to allow us to traverse your realm.
How amazing, this water planet! The sun and the moon are beautiful, yet dry, as far as we know. So let us treasure the miracle of water’s abundance and remember that it surrounded and nurtured each of us for nine months before we left the warm womb and learned to breathe. You flow through us every second of our lives, keeping us pliable and healthy. And isn’t it convenient that the mountains just happen to function as broad reservoirs of snow stored in the high white world of Winter, ready to flow again as Spring returns, warming you, your windblown droplets descending like flocks of migrating birds revisiting lowland fields. You keep us moving, vital, alive!
Fredric Lerhman 2021 NOTE : * This ‘Ode’ was my way of telling l’eau how much I ‘eau’ her for her magic. The remarkable French… How did they come to name those great and indispensable vehicles that crossed the uncrossible deserts, carrying enough water inside them to safely arrive at the next “eauasis" by means of their natural self-replenishing internal water management system that allowed Genghis Khan’s armies to conquer and connect the most vast empire yet achieved by any general whose transport was dependent upon elephant, horse, or oxen alone. Only the one the French named “le chameau” (the camel) could do that! O My Eau my eau my eau my eau…!

VOICES FROM THE STARS The New Earth Laura Bottagisio The planets, in their evolution, always relate to a center: the objective solar center and the subjective center, which focuses on the center of the planet itself, in our case, the Earth. Therefore, ee humans can decode celestial geometries from two different perspectives: HELIOCENTRIC and GEOCENTRIC. The heliocentric observation point, with the Sun at the center, is the same for all planets, while the geocentric point of view is connected only to life on Earth. This premise is essential to better understand the evolution of Human Consciousness, since the Causal Principle of every event on Earth resides in the Sun, whose fire gives us life, inspiration, and warmth. The Sun sends evolutionary messages from One Source and distributes them to the Planets, as living entities, each of which transforms them into messages coherent and comprehensible to its own planetary reality. The same is true for the Earth, a planet that welcomes us, nourishes us, and works for our and its own evolution. Words originate from a thought that the human mind selects from the continuous flow of Ideas and fixes into a concept. It is the Wave that becomes a Particle! As we know so well: the quality of our thoughts, and consequently of our words, creates our very reality.
Neptune and Saturn Neptune is one of the slow-moving planets that, together with Saturn and Uranus, form the so-called "Synthesis" triad. Constantly guided and instructed by the Solar Government, these three planets, in their slow progression, determine the founding principles upon which the complex structure of the evolution of Consciousness can be built in earthly life, which then takes shape on Earth.
Neptune is responsible for formulating principles connected to the discovery, or re-discovery, of our divine origin. It dilutes the power of the ego by dissolving, and sometimes nullifying, its grievances and limitations. Neptune is the planet that inspires mantric invocations, prayers, and musical melodies based on the law of Harmonics. Its voice is the voice of the Heart, the Cosmic Christ, a perfect formula of Love, Devotion, and yearning for the power of the Sacred. Neptune takes 165 Earth years (168 if related to the Harmonics) to complete one zodiacal revolution, with each change of sign, the formulas of his teachings change for us.
On December 11, 2025, from a heliocentric causal perspective, Neptune, having definitively entered Aries, produced a conjunction with Saturn, the sacred planet, Architect and Builder, who decides when and how to modify Forms, replacing old with new. The same conjunction at 1° Aries will be reproduced on a geocentric level on February 19, 2026.
In the three months between the two conjunctions, heliocentric and geocentric, we can approach this vital conjunction first with our soul, tuned into cosmic evolution, then through our inspirations and thoughts, and finally by bringing all of this to light in our daily lives, thus bringing to life the principle "on earth as it is in heaven"!
Neptune is a planet on the sixth ray of Devotion; Saturn is on the third ray of Creative Intelligence. The two eminent Archetypes begin their new cycle, which will last approximately 36 years, in the initiatory sign of Aries, also supported by the revolutionary force of Uranus (the third planet of Synthesis), to which they are in a beautiful sextile relationship. What unprecedented innovative power this is!
At the solar level, Aries represents the Fiery World of Ideas. It is the sign of every beginning, of every new adventure, both celestial and earthly. We are therefore called to reprogram old paradigms that are no longer capable of operating in Matter, nor in our way of being. If we persist in remaining fossilized in old ideas, our life will continually jam, like a clock whose old, rusty gears must be replaced, no longer functioning. Let us rejoice, for we have the full support of the Wave of Life. Accompanying this planetary conjunction is, in fact, an Entity of great importance: the interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS, a name given by astronomers that signifies a very different Reality. Originally red in color, after passing behind the Sun it turned green. ATLAS recalls Atlas, the hero who supports the world; Atlantis, the ancient kingdom also described by Plato; and atlases as geographical maps. Just as the color red recalls Aries, the World of Ideas, and the color green recalls the Earth in its alchemical healing power.
We are within an unprecedented evolutionary movement in which all people of goodwill are called to collaborate. Let us unite without hesitation or hesitation with this New Consciousness that desires the Son of Man to recognize Christlike Love within himself, a crystalline form of perfect evolution. Let us flow with it, offering and donating our best selves for the advent of the New Earth. Enjoy your life!

R.I.S.E. A Journey Towards Healing Annarita Levanti The Authenticity Engineer There are moments when life splits in two: a ‘before’ and an ‘after’. You might remember one or more of these moments and that sensation: something inside you knows that a line has been drawn, and nothing will ever be the same again. A diagnosis, a loss, or a relationship ending can make us feel like the light suddenly switches off, leaving us lost in the dark.
What happens in the ‘after’ is different for all of us. Some of us try to react and push through. Others succumb and decide to live a smaller version of living. Others pretend everything is fine; after all, we must play our part in the script of life. Mustn’t we? Sometimes, we try to fool ourselves, repeating like a mantra that pain will pass, maybe one day, when something or someone will change. Until we discover we don’t have any power to change what is outside our direct control. But in any case, whatever our mental or emotional reaction is, the body begins to speak in ways we don’t understand, or pretend not to: pain, fatigue, or tension.
We try to fix the body (or sometimes only the symptoms) with pills, distractions, or the kind of determination that keeps us pushing through when the only favour we can do ourselves is to stop. We refuse to listen to a deeper message. Why? Because we don’t want to admit that we are less strong than we want to appear. Most of us grew up believing we must demonstrate our strength, be always at the top, achievers aiming for perfection. We treat pain as an obstacle on our journey towards success. But what if pain is not an enemy? Pain arrives when something deep within us needs our attention.
When chronic pain ‘split’ my life into ‘before’ and ‘after’ We live in a world that teaches machines to think, speak, and behave like humans. At the same time, we expect humans to perform like machines. Can I be honest? I used to treat my body that way, like a machine. I had been guilty of that mistake. For years, I was focused on performance, efficiency, and achievements. I took being healthy and vital for granted. My first taste of life ‘before’ and ‘after’ was when chronic pain entered my life. It was the first time my light really switched off. A line was drawn. My doctor said to me, “Annarita, you have trigeminal neuralgia. There is no cure; you will live with this for the rest of your life.” This was on the back of months of unbearable pain. It felt like a life sentence. My first reaction? Denial. How was this possible? I felt as if my body was betraying me. I was only 38 years old. Before the pain, I was building a fantastic career as a telecommunications engineer, recently happily married, training for my second half-marathon, and launching my own business called Wellness Solutions (when the Universe clearly has a sense of humour!). I was in the best shape of my life.
My body had a different opinion. I stayed in denial for months, until I realised that denying would not bring my old life back, so I changed tactics. My next move was to behave like an engineer, with the single goal - to fix what was broken: myself. I treated my body like a system, trying to decode and recode it. But the more I pushed, the worse the pain got. At that time, I felt the despair of being imprisoned in a cage full of pain. It was the darkest moment in my life. The words of my doctor kept coming back to me: “Ah, don’t search trigeminal neuralgia on Google. It’s known as the suicidal disease because the pain can be so intense that people take their own lives.” Did I think of killing myself? Yes, I listed it as one of the options. That thought scared me; it was so far from who I really am. A person in love with life. Now that I am out of the nightmare of chronic pain, I understand what wasn’t working: I was bringing even more tension into the equation. I was treating my body as a broken machine. But our bodies are not machines. They feel. They remember. They signal us.
Gabor Maté says that “the body keeps the score”: a perfect definition. When pain persists, it’s rarely the signal that the body is broken.
Yet, in the middle of the chaos that any kind of pain, physical or emotional, brings, we are unable to understand how to reopen this link. And I did want that understanding. So, in a final attempt to emerge from the dark, I decided to do something different: to reverse-engineer pain, and this is when everything shifted. I didn’t know how yet, but I knew I only wanted one thing: to rise beyond chronic pain.
RECOGNISE THE FACTS Are you ready for some good news? That connection between body and self can be restored. And the first step is awareness: to recognise the facts. Focus on what is really happening, stripping away the emotional layers we wrap around the facts. It sounds simple, but it’s not easy. When we have been in pain for a long time, facts blur together. We remember fragments of events, conversations, situations, not the full picture. Our mind fills in the gaps, sometimes even with something that has never happened in reality. For me, journaling became a way to see clearly again, a simple habit that helped me distinguish facts from emotions. I wrote down everything that was going on in my life. And I discovered that: Pain is not always the same; there are triggers and patterns.
Maybe journaling isn’t your tool, and you might need something different, but the principle is the same:
noticing what is really happening. Notice how your breath changes when you worry. Notice where your muscles tighten when you’re under stress. Notice what softens when you feel safe.
This is the first step toward reopening a real conversation with the body.
INTEGRATE THE SELF When pain stays with us for a long time, it strips away the person we were, until we become nothing but the person in pain. Our choices, plans, and dreams start to revolve around it, and at some point, we stop thinking about living - we just think about surviving the pain. Our inner dialogue plays a huge role in this; it can either support or destroy us. Have you ever replayed the same stories in your mind: things you said, things you didn’t say, things you wish you had done differently? Oh, the list can be quite long! Sometimes those words hurt even more than the pain itself. I used to have my own script: “This is unfair”, “I’ll never have my old life back”, “Nobody understands me”. These sentences echoed through my nervous system more powerfully than the pain itself. They amplified emotions like fear, sadness, and guilt, and kept signalling to my body that something was wrong. One day, I asked myself: “Do you TRULY believe you can heal?” My mind said yes, I had all the techniques, tools, protocols, and supplements. But my heart didn’t. My inner voice said, “I’m different. It won’t work for me.” This was the moment when I realised that there is a difference between pain and suffering. Pain is the language the body uses to communicate with us, to tell us that something needs attention. Suffering is the story we wrap around it, including the thoughts and beliefs we attach as decorations. When I realised my inner dialogue was in charge of choosing between pain and suffering, I started to change it.
To achieve this, we need to listen to our internal dialogue and take ownership of changing it: turning it into something supportive and empowering.
New stories and beliefs are the healing medicines.
SHAPE THE ENVIRONMENT Sometimes, in moments of pain, we find ourselves surrounded by people - family, friends, and doctors – all wanting to help us. Something we should be grateful for. But sometimes these people, with the best of intentions, try to cheer us up, fix us, or tell us what to do next. This happened to me, and I was exhausted. Yes, I was surrounded by people, yet I felt completely alone. The only thing that I wanted (and I needed) was a safe space, where I could take off all the masks and stop pretending everything was fine, under control or getting better. I found that space with a special soul: my dog, Bilbo. He is a beagle, energy in pure expression! But despite all his playfulness, I remember him lying still at my feet when I was in pain. He wouldn’t move, as if he didn’t want to disturb. Can I be sincere? For several months, Bilbo was the only reason I got out of bed. He was the only one who truly listened to my fears and moments of despair, without trying to fix me or saying things like “stay positive” or “try this supplement”. He just looked at me with his big eyes and his ever-waving tail without judgment. In those moments, I understood something powerful:
Because when we feel safe, we can finally remove all the masks. We no longer need to pretend that we’re fine or stronger than we are. This is why I am so passionate about authenticity. The moment you become honest with yourself about your limits, your needs, your truth, the body no longer needs to scream to get your attention.
EMERGE EMPOWERED You don’t need to wait for the pain to be gone before you can start rising beyond it. How? By mastering three key areas: • • •
R as recognise the facts: taking away the emotional layers I as Integrate the self: mastering your internal dialogue, stories and beliefs S as Shape the environment: bringing your full authenticity into the world.
When you master all of them, you naturally •
Emerge Empowered
because you realise your body is no longer an obstacle to your success; it’s the instrument through which life invites you to step out of the dark and walk toward the light again as someone new, someone stronger. Pain is not the end of your story, but it’s the beginning of who you are becoming.
Your turn There are moments when life splits in two, a ‘before’ and ‘after’. And maybe in the past you allowed something external, a diagnosis, a loss, a relationship ending, deciding what your ‘after’ would be. Now, it’s time for you to draw that line again and refuse to let pain define your ‘after’. Take ownership. Today, not tomorrow or someday, is the time when you can start your own journey and

LATHE BIOSAS* Yolanda Zerboni A sense of wonder and surprise welcomes the viewer of Yolanda’s art, immediately followed by a smile, her art leads us to a different world, where the artist, just like a visionary, can perceive and describe, thus telling us stories with her light and profound touch about the different levels of reality that are all happening simultaneously. Yolanda recognizes that painting for her is a meditation that allows her to go beyond the daily chores into an expanded awareness where she can nurture her inspiration. This amazing artist has chosen to live in this area of the world, away from the big cities, yet her inspiration comes from everywhere and nowhere outside, it has been in continuous development since her early childhood, when she started to fill her world with art. What follows is our brief and fun interview: AV: What really pushed you to put your visions on canvas/paper/silk? JZ: It was at the age of 4 or 5 that I had the urge to draw, much to my mother's despair, because I drew on the walls of the house, under ashtrays... wherever I found a blank space. AV: How does the creative process begin for you? JZ: I usually start with an idea, an external stimulus: an image or a fragment I see on social media, on television or in the street. This idea pushes me onwards, so I make pencil sketches, later on I take them up again at another time, until I create the final work... AV: Your colorful, story-rich world fascinates and engages. What parts of yourself does it express? JZ: I like to express my vivid imagination! Over time I have realized that it knows no bounds or limitations, so I keep following its inspiration. AV: You are an artist with many skills and different ways of expressing yourself. Which modality do you choose and why for each new artwork? JZ: My approach is to bring irony even to somewhat heavy themes, I choose to express the lightheartedness and innocence of a child's world in others, seeking to bring a smile or a moment of sweetness to our heavy and worry-filled world. I believe each painting emanates a positive or negative energy, depending on its subject, therefore I would never put a dark, sad, or violent work in my home.
AV: Why did you leave the big cities? JZ: Because I consider myself a gypsy, a citizen of the world... with no ties to any place! I've traveled extensively and lived in Argentina, Africa, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Italy, from Piedmont to Lazio, in various towns from Rome to the Castelli Romani, to Tuscia, but that's not to say I'll ever change again! Here below I have added some of the artwork, I suggest for you to check her complete website, where you can admire her work on different media.

Yolanda Zerboni *Epicurus considered friendship the highest good, both materially and spiritually. However, friendship can only be cultivated in a small circle, away from the storms of life, therefore the motto: Live in hiding (from the crowd). Art often hides from the glitter of the media market, the ancient ones recommended to live hidden, if you really wanted to achieve peace of mind and greatness of spirit.

MAKING MUSICAL WAVES A Summer in Tuscania With the Arts Crossroad This association is the product of a group of friends, from their time at school, where they were learning music and dreaming of working together. That time has finally come, after their separate successful careers. Now they are the minds and, especially, the hearts behind all the cultural events they organize. I had the chance to talk at length with Chieko Hata, the soul of this project, right after the beautiful festival that has graced the past summer in Tuscania, The goal of this new, yet highly professional association, is to find again the value of music. All the teachers in their master classes are passionate about helping their students understand why music was composed in a certain way; such a discovery can move people deeply, even if they are not professional musicians. The ARTS CROSSROADS underline the importance of education, hence the many master classes and the explanations before each concert that were really appreciated. It is also essential to reconnect music with other artistic expressions such as dance and visual arts. Such integration can support the thread or link between the performing musician and the audience. Chieko is very clear on the support needed for young musicians: We can all help them in their growth; it is a widespread need. We aim at educating young people to knowledge and respect towards music and musicians. This line of work comes from an all-consuming passion for music that knows no boundaries, includes many personal sacrifices and does not leave pause for other activities. The 4 friends of Arts Crossroads give themselves very high goals and they constantly aim to go beyond themselves. They are never happy with the results, they aim higher and are convinced of what they are doing, as they know that the most important ingredient is their warm and ever-present enthusiasm. We want to offer programs for children that require patience, discipline and being diligent. We tackle this age range with classical music, which is considered easy for them to follow (Mozart, Haydn, the young Beethoven). Music facilitates concentration. For adolescents our programs will use music as a way towards personal growth, since I am (Cheiko, the President of the association) also a music therapist and yoga teacher.
The first edition of the Tuscania Summer Festival has concluded with great success! We are happy and proud of what we accomplished, but above all we are grateful for the commitment and passion of everyone who made this event possible. A heartfelt thanks goes to the Municipality of Tuscania, the ACTAS Association, the Tuscania Pro Loco, the teachers, students, and, of course, the warm and enthusiastic audience. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! It was amazing to walk around the ancient building and hear music pouring from all corners, to see the little city invaded by many young people carrying around their instrument, pacifically and beautifully invading these spaces. Every night there were 2 short concerts, so that anybody, even without prior preparation, could appreciate and rest in the magnificent music offered. During last summer, THE ARTS CROSSROAD gave us all a taste of what they can do, I look forward to the future, since I have just heard the great news that there will be another spectacular, summer season in 2026, THE BADGER will announce more events in June 2026.

AURAVERSE Claudiu Murgan My personal story unfolded so organically that, looking back, I realized everything before was not ‘fluff,' but necessary experiences—alternative ways of learning, growing, and discovering that not everything we believe is good for us or it truly serves us. I began writing at a young age and published a few science-fiction stories while at university. However, my journey as an author truly began at 45. Within two years I released two books, followed by a third shortly after. The Spiritually Inspired podcast emerged as a natural next step—initially to bring more visibility to my books—yet it quickly became clear that I had stepped into the path meant for me all along. I discovered how much I love interviewing experts, honouring their gifts, and helping them share stories and life events they had never spoken about publicly. Over time, I’ve been blessed to build a community of like-minded souls whom I’m honoured to call friends. Those conversations evolved into books, and our dialogues became seeds of wisdom for future generations. Now, the Auraverse Network is the next organic chapter of my journey—born from lived experience, exploration, and the courage to try many different things. I warmly invite you to visit, explore the StarCasters already sharing their brilliance with us, and become a valued member of the community.
From the Auraverse website: Auraverse is where consciousness meets creativity. It is a gathering place for healers, empaths, shamans, and truth-seekers, it amplifies the voices shaping humanity’s awakening. Here, stories become medicine, energy becomes expression, and every episode carries a spark of transformation. Our creators explore healing, multidimensionality, near-death insights, channeling, and the mysteries of existence itself. Each program uplifts, educates, and expands collective consciousness. This is more than a streaming platform — it’s a sacred space for wisdom keepers, lightworkers, and modern mystics shaping a new narrative for humanity’s evolution.

MAHAKALA Great Wheel of Time Alessandro Pintus e Rosella Fanelli Two dancers of immense talent and experience, 2 imaginative and original choreographers, 2 dance trainers, and I should add life teachers, accepted my invitation to present Mahakala, Great Wheel of Time, my narrative essay published by THE BADGER BOOKS. A.Vicini Here you can find the highlights of the presentation and their insightful understanding of it: AP: I am glad to be back in Tuscania, where I have spent much time working with many dancers over several years. During these workshops, Antonella offered to share our experiences with the world in THE BADGER, her online magazine. In 2020 she asked me to read her ongoing work on Mahakala, a book she started in 2011 and finished just a few weeks ago, because the real books, those written with the soul, never really end. Her book is a body in evolution, it allowed the writer to journey through life, and her heartfelt approach will enable us to travel as well through time and space, as well as across the seasons. Her path leads us from classical antiquity to the oriental world. This book contains what is not usually mentioned in our crazily busy daily lives, this book talks to our deepest soul, and, for this reason, it is here at the right time, even if our contemporary culture seems to affirm exactly the opposite. Reading it facilitates real contact with our essence, something we can do by choice, instead of remembering it only when we are unwell or at the end of our life. This book allows and invites us to talk about our lives in ways that usually elude our awake consciousness and only appear in our dreams. A beautiful song by Franco Battiato ends with the lines “We will return, we will return again” * this return indicates a return to our center, our heart. This is the suggestion I can give you when reading this book: approach it with open hearts. Antonella’s book is in service of others to find the way to the deepest part of us, sometimes for the first time or find again. It is a journey that beats at the rhythm of the soul, if you need this solace, or if you think there may be some people in need of comfort and support, this is the best present you can give them.
RF: When I first saw this book, I recognized it, because Antonella had the courage to rationalize the Mystery of life. This is an intimate soul diary, reading it was a beautiful experience for me. Through the book, I could find many of my steps in the world, especially meeting a teacher that leaves a mark on our lives, this is what happened to me and I could recognize that it happened to Antonella as well. This is a great fortune in life, a great blessing, because we can carry it like a precious jewel that is at the core of our lives. The book is rich in reflections, poetic images and metaphors, such as Siva Nataraja, the Indian god who creates the universe with his powerful, yet light dance, while he easily squashes down the demon of ignorance; just as it happens in cosmic creation that, by definition, defeats ignorance, while aims at the center, the light, the path that can gratify our existence. In this book I have found a cyclic knowledge that is part of us as: we can read the entire book, or we can consult it whenever we desire. For real transformation to happen, we need to have discipline, hence the exercises inserted in the book. Observing the world in wonder, as it is described in this book, we get back to our natural rhythm, always connected to the seasons. Simplicity is key in the book and in the exercises suggested, so that we can find what we need in our daily lives: a moment of stillness, the awareness of our breath, these aspects help us to dance through our lives, dancing over the fire of our fears, so that transformation can occur. This book was written with much respect for our ancestors, from all parts of the world, because they can all teach us something precious, if we are willing to listen and share them with all those that will come after us: our descendants. Waiting for the external teacher we can use the simple exercises in the book, to support our personal growth and evolution. Without practice we get lost, we need to apply daily what we believe in and what supports us during our lives, so that we can incarnate the teachings in our bodies and actions.

QUILTING AWAY Quilting is the art of creating very colorful quilts, using small pieces of fabrics stitched together preferably by hand, in different colorful and amazing patterns. My Quilts are stitched and quilted by hand to assure a more precise assembly and even thickness. It takes time to create a quilt: for a single bed at least 3 months are needed.
A quilt can be a very precious gift for a wedding, a special occasion, or for a significant person. Visit my Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/lidaperry/?fref=ts
