Virtual Program: Nicotine and Vaping Cessation
Having trouble quitting smoking or know a love one who is struggling? Join Stony Brook Cancer Center health educators to learn about smoking cessation resources, second-hand smoke, the vaping epidemic and the dangerous effects it has on youth today. This program is held virtually from 12 to 1 p.m., brought to you by Nassau Libraries Health Share and is sponsored by Hillside Library. THURSDAY, APRIL 20 Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber Fundraiser
Nothing brings people together like good pizza and a good cause. Come on out and help support the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce! It will be hosted at the Oyster Bay Brewing Company, 36 Audrey Ave., from 5 to 8 p.m. The tickets are $50 each. Open bar (beer and wine) and you will get a chance to try out all the different pizza places! There will also be raffles and a 50/50! Funds raised during this event will benefit events and programs such as: Cruise Nights, Oyster Bay Day, Holiday Stroll, Holiday Decor, Small Business Season & other initiatives intended to increase shopper traffic and benefit our local business community.
