Transform Any Room With A Fresh Coat Of Paint
Things Appear Bigger
A fresh coat of paint can really open up a room, space or wall, creating an illusion of more space, even if there really isn’t. Go lighter to open the room. Go darker to draw it in. Additionally, marks and scratches on the walls over time disrupt the flow of your eye over a space. A fresh coat of paint in the existing color, especially white or neutral walls, can help restore the continuity of the space.

Transform any room, space or wall in your home with a fresh coat of paint while keeping your expenses in check. You’ll be surprised at how great a room could look. Enhance any space in your home, starting with a fresh coat of paint.
Add Character
Conversely, you can add some cozy character to your room as well. For example, one popular way to achieve this in just about any room is by creating a feature wall. Add a new accent colour on to the feature wall and decorate it how you please. This can break up a space, add some depth to your layout and of course, some character too.

Looking to update your living room from that 1970s vibe? You can easily achieve this with minimal alterations, along with peeling off that
old wallpaper and putting on fresh coating of paint to achieve that clean, modern look you want.

Change the feel of the room by reorganizing your bookshelves. Reduce the volume on each shelf, add bookends or shelf decor like plates, figurines or other decorative objects. Home decor says so much about your personality as a homeowner, a sort of style showcase. Add modern, stylish or antique decorative elements to your coffee and end tables to round out your room. Re-imagining the garden Spring 2021

icks Nurseries, Long Island’s largest garden center is presenting a new experience in lieu of its traditional Flower & Garden Show. The Designer Gardens showcase has opened in place of the annual flower show. The showcase features eight stunning garden displays by Hicks Landscapes’ award-winning design team. Gardens are designed to inspire real-world solutions with plant and color combinations that create an attainable and unique setting for Long Island homes. The top garden styles are covered ranging from formal to modern, seaside to urban, bohemian to paradise. Elements in each includes a place to sit, the warmth of fire, the tranquility of water, a symphony of plants and a path to lead the way. Social distancing and safety remain a top priority throughout the facility. The layout offers maximum space between gardens for people to move around and maintain six-feet distance. The gardens are located in a 20,000 square-foot greenhouse with (18 feet high) peaked roofs which allows for maximum air circulation and creates an outdoor environment inside. When weather permits, the greenhouse space opens further with vented roofs and retractable walls. A state-of-the-art air filtration system disinfects circulated air in all
