BUSINESS & VESTMANNAEYJAR PORT: Continue the work on a large-ship port that has already begun. Keep on supporting Ferðamálasamtök Vestmannaeyja. Continued development of footpaths and improved access to outdoor recreation areas. Review the renewal of the Vestmannaeyjar Fire Department's equipment during the election period. Support all types of innovative companies, for example with an innovation fund.
ADVOCACY FOR VESTMANNAEYJAR Continue to ensure responsible finances The state should be pressured to greatly improve transportation to Vestmannaeyjar. Emphasize a contingency plan for closures at Landeyjahöfn and failures at Herjólfur. Ensure that the state contributes the majority of the payment for the NSL 4 water supply system. Push for the construction of a new nursing home close to HSU. The state should be pressured to continue providing good basic services at HSU and for an pasient airplane to be stationed in Vestmannaeyjar. Increase air travel during the winter and demand trips that are useful as day trips for residents. Demand that Vestmannaeyjar issues be prioritized better in the transportation plan, e.g. a largeship port, a new tugboat, and construction on Básaskersbryggja.

FAMILY, WELFARE AND LEISURE: Increase and tier the leisure allowance to ISK 75,000 and increase the number of member associations. Consider hiring a caretaker at the sports center and Hástein area. Move community center closer to Primary School, increase utilization. Ensure that an occupational therapist, developmental therapist, and psychologist continue to work at Vestmannaeyjabær. Continue to support the Janus Project and continue the digital journey in aging issues. Improve accessibility further. Promote more employment opportunities for people with disabilities and consider their future vision. Undertake necessary construction work on Heimaey with the needs of service recipients in mind. Establish a rehabilitation center for people outside the labor market.
SCHOOL AND EDUCATION: Ensure the construction of a new preschool at Löngulág during the election period with the possibility of expansion. Continue to offer take-home payments and aim to increase the payment ceiling if necessary. Hire a multilingual director and continue to ensure special education directors within preschools and ensure ÍSAT teaching in elementary schools. Examine the need for a childcare facility during the summer closure of preschools and closely monitor the development of a new preschool system. Ensure healthy and good food in preschools and primary schools and that fees are comparable to other municipalities. Continue to support "Kveikum neistan" and maintain the equipment of both elementary schools. Continue necessary maintenance of the town's school buildings. Explore the possibility of further support for specialist students who commit to working at Vestmannaeyjarbær for at least two years after completing their studies.
ENVIRONMENTAL, CONSTRUCTION AND PLANNING: Increase transparency to residents about the town's construction projects. Ensure ongoing maintenance of the town's real estate. Get a clear plan for construction at the Sports Center as well as the future vision of sports movements. Take a closer look at the construction of a therapeutic pool. Ensure housing for the Arts and Culture Association. Significantly improve traffic safety at the town's preschool and elementary schools. Ensure development of plots and that street construction has begun before allocating plots. Strengthen the planning of industrial sites. Provide control over waste management, ensure care and increase the number of neighborhood centers. Continue the development of playgrounds in the town's neighborhoods. Check the need for the development of serviced apartments for older people.
