Commercials portray our blood in blue colour and most beauty products aimed for women are in pink. We learn from a young age that it is best to avoid the words «period» and «blood». Call it as it is.
The pinkness and the malleability of the soft compound is a metaphor for the manipulation and the shift changing commercial greed.

Alongside all the great mothers of nature, is the serpent. It adorned the forehead of Isis as a pure gold uraeus, a symbol of divine sovereignty, knowledge, life and youth.The serpent was associated with the chthonic goddesses, among them: Kyveli, Demeter, and the goddess of snakes of Minoan Crete. The snake, a primordial deity that first stood at the beginning of the cosmogenesis, is also a symbol of the soul and libido.Bachelard considers it one of the most important archetypes of the human soul. In tantra, the Kundalinī lying coiled at the base of the spine takes the form of a female snake. It is a great primordial force in lethargy waiting to unfold. Her awakeningwillpushthe"unsuspecting"humanbodythatiscarrying her,torise,reachingmysticalenlightenment.
The installation consists of a sculptural complex of three-dimensional snakes, with intense primitive painting decoration. The simple visual composition of the video is presented asacaresstothesculpturalobjects,givingaspiritualdimension.

She knows her place. Stifled betweenthefourwallsandthe wheat, she finds her redemption, like Ophelia of Millais,did.

She is found trapped in a place defined for her by the society of the time. She is placed "like a doll" in a real doll's box. Right and left she is surrounded by objects that define her role. Her bare chest shows her need to rebel, like Liberty leading the peopleinDelacroix'spainting.

A musical box is narrated, inspired by the first collections of objects, known as cabinets of curiosities or cabinets of wonder. Its eclectic appearance combines elements of neoclassical and Victorian architecture, while a series of small personal itemstalismans - are exposed inside. Its body is made out of paper and structural materials. The chorus of Madonna's Material Girl plays in the center of its heart.
The sound is activated when the viewer presses the buttonfound inthecenterofthecollection «pushme»
Ένα κουτί μουσικό διηγείται, εμπνευσμένο από τις πρώτες συλλογές αντικειμένων, γνωστές ως cabinets of curiosities ή cabinets of wonder. Η εκλεκτικιστική του όψη συνδυάζει στοιχεία της νεοκλασικής και της βικτωριανής αρχιτεκτονικής, ενώ μέσα του βρίσκονται εκτεθειμένα σειρά από προσωπικά μικροαντικείμενα –φυλαχτά. Ο σκελετός του είναι χάρτινος, τα υλικά που το περιβάλλουν δομικά. Στην καρδιά του παίζει το ρεφρέντουκομματιούMaterialGirlτηςMadonna. Ο ήχος ενεργοποιείται, όταν ο θεατής πιέσει το κουμπί πουβρίσκεταιστοκέντροτηςσυλλογής. «pushme/πίεσεμε»
