OLD BRIDGE TOWNSHIP MEMORIAL NEW EMERGENCY DAY PARADE IS BACK! DEPARTMENT AT OB MEDICAL CENTER OPENS
Hackensack Meridian Old Bridge Medical Center has recently opened its brand new state-of-the-art Emergency Department to the public. A $39 million investment into the community, the new 24,000 sq foot facility will serve every patient from pediatric to geriatric. “At Hackensack Meridian Health, our focus is to provide the best healthcare experience possible and we see Old Bridge Medical Center is doing just that by officially opening their new Emergency Department to our community,” said Robert C. Garrett, chief executive officer, Hackensack Meridian Health. “This expansion will allow unprecedented access to a full continuum of care.” The new Emergency Department enhances care with safer, faster arrivals by expanding the number of ambulance bays, newly designed pediatric rooms, on-site technology that provides faster diagnostics and treatment, 20 private Emergency Room patients beds, a brand new concourse that connects all three buildings on the Continue on page 10
On Monday May 30, 2022, Old Bridge Township will be hosting our Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. The parade will kick off at 9am from Memorial Elementary school, the parade will proceed down Laurence Parkway toward the waterfront, cross over route 35 and loop around shoreland circle before ending at Memorial Park in front of the Laurence Harbor Fire Company, where refreshments will be served, and we will
commence with our ceremony. We look forward to our annual Memorial Day Parade and ceremony and are truly excited to be finally bringing it back after a short virtual stint through covid. We have worked through so much in these last few years and are excited to continue honoring and remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are still in the process of selecting a Grand Marshall to
lead our parade.
