The South Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company came together for its annual Officer Installation Dinner at The Reception Center in Matawan on January 21, after taking two years off due to COVID. The annual dinner was attended by well over 120 patrons, including several members of neighboring fire departments and members of the Old Bridge township council. Jeff Sellmeyer was elected to serve as Fire Chief. Chief Sellmeyer, a 30-year member, has been working his way up the ranks since becoming a lieutenant in 2002.
