A message from Karolin Troubetzkoy and the Troubetzkoy Family
For many years, Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain have been rooted in a simple belief: that tourism, when done with care and intention, can be a force for good — for people, for nature, and for the place we are privileged to call home.
Saint Lucia has given our family, our team, and our guests so much. This island’s beauty, culture, and resilience are at the heart of everything we do, and supporting the communities and ecosystems that sustain it is deeply important to me personally and to our entire family.
Through a voluntary contribution of US $5 per night, our guests may choose to support a small but meaningful collection of island-based initiatives that reflect this commitment.
US $2 supports the Tourism Enhancement Fund, an initiative of the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association, which reinvests in local sports, education, community infrastructure, and charitable projects that touch lives across the island.
US $2 goes to the Marine Health Alliance, helping to protect and restore Saint Lucia’s marine ecosystems - including reefs, mangroves, and seagrass - through education, partnerships, and island-wide conservation efforts.
US $1 supports HelpAWS, a remarkable local organisation providing care, shelter, and protection for animals in need, while also promoting compassion and responsible animal welfare.
These contributions may seem modest, but together they make a real and lasting difference. By supporting education, youth development, and community and sporting programmes, protecting fragile marine ecosystems, and extending care to vulnerable animals, your participation helps sustain the social and environmental fabric of Saint Lucia. We work closely with each partner organisation to ensure that funds are carefully allocated, responsibly managed, and directed toward initiatives where they can create meaningful, long-term impact for the island and its communities.
