LOCATION Lush, tropical Anse Chastanet is one of the Caribbean’s most scenic resort hideaways. Guests enjoy visiting the organic farm and the resort’s chocolate laboratory. The innovative menus -one entirely vegan - receive produce from the resort’s organic farm.

DINING Anse Chastanet offers a great variety of dining options. 4 restaurant locations serve a variety of menus including but not limited to modern Caribbean, traditional Creole, East India-St. Lucia fusion and vegan.

• Balawoo in the Treehouse: In keeping with Anse Chastanet’s ecoconscious philosophy, Balawoo – a Creole name for a small fish – embodies the sea-to-plate, farm-to-table philosophy. Dine in two open air treehouses overlooking lush tropical foliage and the Caribbean Sea. Celebrating award winning Tropical World Cuisine, a blend of Caribbean with other tropical world cuisine experiences is served in a romantic candlelit ambiance, surrounded by beautiful original artwork. Breakfast and dinner is served daily.

• EMERALD VEGAN RESTAURANT in the Piti Piton Lounge: Whilst most resort restaurant menus offer vegetarian or vegan choices, the Emerald’s Restaurant caters exclusively to vegans with a modern tapas style menu. Crispy Cauliflower Accras with Lime, Scallion, St Lucian Mango Chutney and Bread Fruit Gnocchi with Tomato, Lemon Thyme and Chadon Beni Pesto. Served in a panoramic hillside setting above the Piton Bar. Dinner is served daily.

• Trou au Diable Beach restaurant: Located right on the Anse Chastanet beach, serving lunch daily. The lunch menu offers a wide and varied choice of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers and Caribbean and Creole specialities. On Tuesday evenings, all guests enjoy a special Caribbean culinary evening in the Trou au Diable Restaurant, which commences with a cocktail reception at 6 pm The atmosphere is festive with the entire stretch of beach in front of the restaurant lit up by flambeau candles • APSARA in the Trou au Diable restaurant: Served all evenings except Tuesday, APSARA is an innovative fusion of modern East Indian and Caribbean cooking, a celebration of St. Lucia historical and cultural ties with East India.

• The Grill in the Beach Bar: beach grill dinner menu to enjoy light grilled fare near the water's edge in a casual setting. Served all evenings except Tuesday.

• The Jungle Grill at Anse Mamin: Located on the 2nd beach, Anse Mamin, this casual and laid back open air eatery and bar is open daily for lunch

ACCOMMODATION OVERVIEW ANSE CHASTANET emphasizes the use of local woods and other local products in the room decor and furnishings. Cushions and bedspreads are made from colorfulcotton fabrics called madras, the island's "national cloth”. Even the resort bathrobes are locally made.

The furniture has been individually designed and handmade in the region with the exclusive use of the island woods such as teak, mahogany, green heart, red cedar and wild breadfruit.

In room amenities include fridge, espresso/coffee makers, in-room safes, hand-made bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board in most room types, Molton Brown amenities, free wi-fi. Twice daily housekeeping service with complimentary bottled water.

Room Description – Premium Rooms Images > Short Description Premium rooms offer splendid views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea and are located on the upper hillside. Some Premium rooms have the fourth wall missing entirely, whilst others have wooden louvre walls which open to balconies/ patios.

All premium rooms have king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with 2 sinks, shower and toilet. Upon request, extra bed or twin beds can be provided.

Average size: 700 sq ft All premium rooms are built in an airy fashion that allow for excellent natural ventilation and also have ceiling fans.

Some hillside deluxe rooms have the fourth wall missing entirely whilst others have wooden louvre walls and open room dormers allowing for excellent natural airflow.

Some of the Hillside Deluxe rooms have a formal separation between bedroom and living room, others are wide open spaces flowing into each other, with either coralina tiles, clay floor tiles or tropical hardwood floors, with patios and/or balconies.

Average size: 700 sq ft All hillside deluxe rooms are built in an airy fashion that allow for excellent natural ventilation and also have ceiling fans.

The beachside deluxe rooms are generous in space, with coralina or clay tiles and wooden jalousie louvre windows and large balconies or patios. All beachside rooms offer a tropical garden view and are just a few feet away from the beach and water's edge. The beachside deluxe rooms at Anse Chastanet are air-conditioned. This is an optional feature as louvres can instead be opened for natural air flow.

Average size: 400 sq ft All rooms have king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet. Upon request, extra bed or twin beds can be provided. All superior rooms are built in an airy fashion that allow for excellent natural ventilation and have ceiling fans.

Room Description – Standard Rooms Short Description Standard rooms are located at various levels with balconies and tropical garden, sea and/or Piton views. Fridge, coffee maker, in-room safe, hand-made bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, Molton Brown amenities, free wi-fi Long Description Anse Chastanet’s standard rooms are located at various level. When booking standard category, please know you could be located on either hillside or beachside. The category is based on "run of house" principle which may lead to a complimentary upgrade to superior or beachside deluxe location, at the Resort's discretion but never guaranteed.

The standard rooms have either coralina tiles, clay tiles or tropical hardwood floors, glass or wooden louvered windows, balconies with varying views.

Average size: 350 sq ft All rooms have king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet. Upon request, extra bed or twin beds can be provided.

One-of-a-Kind Suites Room Description – Piton Pool Suite “Casuarina” Images > Short Description One of a kind suite with private pool at mid hillside level with excellent views of the Caribbean Sea and Pitons.

The spacious bedroom with walk in closet opens to a 420 sq ft open walled patio living room area. The grand bathroom with Piton view features a “Couples” Shower with “His" and “Hers" rain shower heads.

Casuarina has a private 160 sq ft pool surrounded by a pool deck of 135 sq ft.

Upon request, the suite can be connected to a second room, creating an interconnecting two-bedroom two-bathroom suite.

Room Description - The Beach House Images > The Beach House at Anse Chastanet is located on the north corner of Anse Chastanet beach where you can sit and relax, looking out over the sparkling Caribbean Sea, watching sunsets year-round from your elevated brick deck in the landscaped oceanfront garden. The interior is bright and airy, bathed in warm Caribbean sunlight shining through its French doors and windows.

The decor of the Beach House is a celebration of Saint Lucia’s heritage which saw the island change hands between the French and the British 14 times. The island’s French legacy is still evident in its Creole dialect and culture.

The expansive bathroom is a separate room off the main living area, with two large, rectangular white porcelain pedestal sinks and inset mirrors and glass wall sconces.

A large, open custom rose glass tile shower area provides you with two rain showers, bench and an additional hand-held shower. A cast-iron clawfoot slipper tub is set in front of a garden window with a view of the unique water fountain and pond, with water lilies and Koi fish.

The Beach House is 1600sf inclusive of a 450 sf covered patio and is fully air-conditioned. In suite amenities include fridge, espresso/coffee maker, in-room safe, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Molton Brown amenities, telephone, and free wi-fi.

Interconnecting Room Options

Mountains UNESCO World Heritage. This is by far the biggest unit, with an interconnecting door at balcony level, and two individual entrances. Each room has extremely spacious patios- living areas, each one overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Pitons.

Units 7c/d – use one hillside deluxe and one premium room rate

- On the lower hillside, we offer a 2 bedroom-2 bathroom unit with a partial view of the Caribbean Sea and our Pitons UNESCO World Heritage site. The suite has a master bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds, and a second bathroom is located across the room's mutual and spacious, open walled patio- living area. The unit has one entrance door. Units 2c/d - use one standard and one superior room rate

- And finally, on the mid-hillside, we offer Anse Chastanet’s one of a kind Casuarina Piton Pool suite which features a 160 square-foot pool surrounded by a 135-square deck in the middle of the hillside resort with its breathtaking views of the storied Piton mountains rising from azure waters. The spacious bedroom with walk-in closet opens to a 420-square foot open walled patio-living room area. The grand bathroom, also with a Piton view, features a "Couples Shower" with "His" and "Hers" rain shower heads. Upon request, a smaller, second bedroom and bathroom can connect with Casuarina. Use Piton Pool Suite plus one Standard room.

- Also on the lower hillside, in a private corner location with a partial view of the Caribbean Sea ocean and our Pitons UNESCO World Heritage site, we offer an interconnecting 2 bedroom unit consisting of two hill deluxe rooms with individual entrance doors.
