leave certification
Check and certify your leave accruals
Because our many employee timekeeping methods (such as MyLeave) are out of sync with our leave accurals, the University of Colorado asks employees to verify the accuracy of their sick and vacation leave after the close of the fiscal year to ensure all vacation and sick leave balances are accurate.

“I genuinely love the operating room and the team environment it fosters. The trust and camaraderie we share in vascular surgery make our team dynamic strong and rewarding.”
This month, meet Samantha Silva, our Vascular Surgery Coordinator! Samantha comes to Vascular after falling in love with the specialty as a recently graduated nurse. As coordinator, she ensures our surgeons have the supplies and support they need to perform the highest standard of care.
“I chose Vascular Surgery because of my fascination with the complexity and precision involved in the procedures,” she says “Over the years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the range of procedures we perform, from simple fistula creations to PMEGS.”
Samantha is so proud to be part of Vascular that many of her professional goals revolve around helping others to see what an incredible place the Vascular OR is. Her biggest goal is to make the Vascular OR team one of the most desirable teams to join; she wants to attract the most talented nurses and surgical techs.
Outside the OR, Samantha is a pickleball player, brewery enjoyer, wife, and dog mom.
