Every year, CU Urology graduates come together to play eighteen holes of golf This year was an especially fun one: Rob Larke (2016) sank his firstever hole in one!
This year ’ s attendees also included Garrett Pohlman (2013), Tom Pshak (2015), Kyle Rove (2016), McCabe Kenny (2017), Trevor Wild (2018), Michael Maccini (2018), and Jason Warncke (2019).
This is the fourth annual alumni golf trip, which meets in Arizona each year

spotlight vanessa de assis, pa-c
Happy (late) National PA Week!
To celebrate, take a moment to get to know Vanessa De Assis, the newest addition to our CU Urology family!
Vanessa De Assis, PA joined CU on October 1.
Before coming to CU, Vanessa was a Urology PA at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland and we ’ re so excited she’s chosen to stay in the Uro-community!
Vanessa chose Urology because she enjoys doing procedures, and Urology is a specialty that includes lots of hands-on work and getting to do those procedures.
In her free time, Vanessa can be found grabbing some Italian food, or perhaps doing some relaxing yoga, hiking around the Front Range, or taking some time to head down to the coast and hang out on the beach.
This year of research has brought us 40 publications so far and we are incredibly proud of the division.
Ongoing urology projects span a wide range of topics: incontinence, urologic cancers, kidney stones, testicular torsion, pelvic floor disorders, differences in sex development (DSD), kidney stones, and more Is your recent** publication missing?
