LAUNCH OF AMDI SPOTLIGHT AWARD

The AMDI Spotlight Award was established to honor employees for their hard work and commitment. This recognition occurs in two parts: employees can receive immediate acknowledgment for a specific task they've completed, or they may be selected as Employee of the Month by their supervisor or manager.

To engage the staff, a logo competition was held, and Kenesha Croker emerged as the winner. This design perfectly aligns with the vision of the Spotlight Award.

The Employee Spotlight logo embodies the spirit of excellence that drives our team forward. This Employee Spotlight Program was designed to celebrate the outstanding contributions of our employees across all departments.

The vibrant design of the logo reflects our seven core values. The base is gold, transitioning into a deep blue hourglassshaped body that flares out at the top. Deep blue conveys trust and professionalism while gold signifies prestige and success. Resting on this is our ANSA McAL Emblem.

MEET Boodram Persaud

WorkingatAMDI“...givesmeachancetogrowconstantly.”

Since joining the company on March 26th, 2020, Boodram has made a lasting impact. Currently functioning as the Customer Service Supervisor, he has a passion for problem-solving and a drive to keep learning. Boodram brings both structure and adaptability to each workday.

One of the aspects he enjoys most about the job is the opportunity to travel across various branches for stock counts and branch management. “It keeps me on my toes,” he shared. “I don’t like being at a desk all day, so being out in the field, learning and adapting on the go, is a perfect fit.”

Each day brings a new challenge, from correcting system errors related to transfers and billing, to supporting the sales team in getting their bills processed. “No two days are the same,” he explained. “It keeps the job exciting and gives me a chance to grow constantly.”

What helps him succeed? A sharp eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly. These qualities ensure that even the most complex issues are handled with care and efficiency.

With dedication like this, it’s no surprise that Boodram has become an integral part of the company’s operations, on the ground, behind the scenes, and always pushing for excellence.
