A day of family fun at the Kingston Seawall Esplanade as we celebrated the exciting Bauducco launch on August 25th, 2024!

Kids enjoyed the bouncy castle and had magical moments with their favourite Disney mascots. It was a perfect blend of sweet treats and smiles!

AMDI was thrilled to announce its support for Zion Hickerson, a remarkable young athlete, who embarked on a series of intensive training to further hone his athletic skills.

Zion will kick off his journey at the prestigious Arsenal Football Camp in Richmond, Virginia from July 29th to August 2nd, 2024. Thereafter, he will attend the Little Mo International tennis training in New Jersey from August 17th to the 21st, 2024.

At just 9 years old, Zion Hickerson is already making waves in the sports world. In 2023, he won U 11 tennis at Chatoyer’s Tennis International in St. Vincent. He has recently placed 2nd in Boys U 10 Singles and 1st in Boys U 10 Doubles at Lease Operators Tennis Tournament in Trinidad. Zion is also a proud member of the international team for tennis, squash, and table tennis.

Zion Hickerson is a name to watch, emerging as one of Guyana’s promising sports superstars. He has an exciting future ahead.

Lucozade’s Energize your Drive promotion began on April 12th with a simple task: purchase two 360ml Lucozade to win cash prizes and a brand-new Toyota CHR. The promotion concluded on July 27th, 2024, with a grand drawing at Bounty Supermarket located on Water Street. With live entertainment and free giveaways, shoppers were excited and given a last-minute opportunity to enter the competition.

Finally, it was time to select the winners. Anticipated shoppers stood by as entries were mixed thoroughly. Ms. Rajdai Sookram won herself $250,000 while Nicola Inlall became $500,000 richer.

Expectancies grew as the time drew near to announce the winner of the Toyota CHR. After adding new entries, the names were mixed thoroughly once again. Paul Murray’s name was drawn, and he is now the owner of a brand new car by simply purchasing two 360ml Lucozade.

Congratulations to our winners and thank you for participating in our Energize your Drive promotion.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, in partnership with ANSA McAl, has launched the “Designate a Driver, Don’t Drink and Drive (D5)” road safety campaign.

This initiative encourages drivers to stay safe by choosing a designated driver if they plan to drink.

Tragically, between January 1 and October 26, 2024, 101 lives have been lost on our roads, the ministry disclosed.

With support from ANSA Building Solutions, Ms. Queenlatiffa Robertson was able to fulfill her beauty with a purpose mission; road safety on the East coast. Ms. Robertson also attended bar visits with the D5 team and copped the most resilient prize in the pageant.

Dr. Cona Husbands, Manager, Sexual offences and Domestic Violence Policy Unit addressing staff members

On September 6, the staff of ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. took an important step towards building a safer and more inclusive workplace during a Gender-Based Violence Sensitization session.

Facilitated by the Ministry of Human Services and Social Protection, this session highlighted the critical role we all play in ending violence and supporting each other. Together, we can foster a culture of respect and equality.

This is the first among other sessions to be held as we approach 16 days of activism against Gender-based violence in November.

Road Safety Compliance Session

Members of the Police Force's Traffic Department, Regional Division 4C, conducted a road safety and compliance session with our drivers and salesmen to remind them how to conduct themselves on the roadways when operating motor vehicles.

As a corporate entity, it is vital that our most valuable resource remains up to date and compliant with road safety and traffic laws.

This is part of a series of activities leading up to Road Safety Month. Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved as we work together to advocate for a safer community.
