MADE IN CUMBRIA

Creating a first impression is important, whether it be meeting new people, dating, interviews...

In a moment of madness, Lee has decided to bite off more than he can chew and has booked a 30+ date national tour, as an attempt to answer the question “What happens if you do a tour while not actually being famous?”

Have you ever had a dream? Put it on the Bonfire! Join award-winning comedian Edy Hurst “A manic ball of comedy energy” - GIGGLE BEATS, for the most uplifting show about destroying all your hopes and ambition. Edy combines short, punch-line filled musical comedy with a skewed oddball take on the world. With jokes that creep up on you, Edy is fast becoming an exciting new addition to the comedy circuit with a unique and intelligent take on stand music comedy expectations As heard on BBC Radio 4, Winner of Tickled Pig 2013, Finalist in Great Yorkshire Fringe New Act 2017, Nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award 2017. “An abstract guitar-playing impish minstrel of a man, Edy is a joyous comic to behold.” - MANCHESTER WIRE SUITABLE FOR 12+

...or your debut solo show.... Join Funny Women’s one to Watch, Steff Todd, as the comedian and impressionist presents a gag-packed hour! “Clever, sharp celebrity impressions mixed with witty and inventive one-liners” - STAGEFRIGHT COMEDY “Very funny and definitely one to watch” - MANFORD’S COMEDY CLUB

As if that wasn’t enough, he is ending the tour with a gig in a 400 seat theatre in his home town. He’ll also be recording a documentary as he goes, while hoping not to regret it. He’s good by the way. He’s done a bit of telly and radio and was tour support for Chris Ramsey. He had a book out last year, that was in the top ten comedians books on Amazon UK. His podcast with Sammy Dobson (From BBCs Boy Meets Girl (Yep, she’s better known)) is called Which Is The Best? and is funny and is liked by people who like it!

Bringing whimsical comedy together with hard hitting cultural satire Chris tackles any issue with the same hilarity. Mental illness, politics, red wine and Pokémon are treated equally in this high energy show. You’ll never eat a banana the same way again.

Her first character show was ‘Made in Cumbria’ and had a sold out run Brighton Fringe. It was nominated for two Brighton Fringe awards the Latest Comedy Award and for the Audience Choice Award.

“Had the crowd roaring, lapped it up . Full of energy, loud, charismatic. Lovely.” – THE STAND

She was recently heard on the Radio 4 comedy drama, ‘Almost like being in love’ written by Catriona Knox and produced by Caroline Raphael.

“Charismatic and entertaining” – COMEDY CENTRAL “Top stuff….confident, funny and self deprecating” – JACK WHITEHALL

“Very funny” - MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS SUITABLE FOR 14+

COMEDY The world-famous Laurel & Hardy Museum in Ulverston is certainly well worth a visit. Stan Laurel was born in the historic market town in 1890 and in 1993, life-long fan Bill Cubin, the former mayor of Ulverston, opened his own tribute to the comedy duo. Described as a “hobby that got out of hand” the collection soon expanded. It quickly became a “must see” attraction for all visitors to Ulverston. Now in new larger premises within the Roxy cinema complex, there is far more space to enjoy the marvellous Laurel and Hardy memorabelia

SUNDAY CELIA & KRYSTAL

In their first Edinburgh Fringe preview show, Celia – an Ulverstonian chasing the comedy dream up in Edinburgh, & Krystal – a dry and cutting American rising-up in the Scottish comedy scene, have paired together to create CHEESE! an hour long stand-up two-hander full of top bantz. DISCLAIMER: This show may, or may not, mention, contain, distribute, allude to, cheese. [Celia Wilding] “A blast of a storyteller, infectious and confident, she throws a party when she’s on stage.” [Krystal Evans] “Sharp and intelligent, warm and honest stand-up, with electric new writing.” - BEN VERTH, MONKEY BARREL COMEDY 2018

Love Letters from Blackpool

FREESTYLE COMEDY: IMPROVISED STAND-UP

SEX, DRUGS & MY NANA'S BUNGALOW

What does it mean to follow your dreams when you feel like you have so much to lose? This year’s Chortle’s One To Watch Scott Bennett will tell you as he has finally made a decision that has changed his life and the lives of those around him. This is a show about sacrifice, support, love and discovering who you really are.

Love Letters from Blackpool, a comedy theatre piece about love and Blackpool, originally commissioned by The Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester, and subsequently nominated for Best New Show at Leicester Comedy Festival, and Best Comedy Show at Greater Manchester Fringe, uses found love letters, original songs, poetry and audience interaction to answer the questions...

It’s stand-up, but not as you know it.

‘Rewriting the rules of comedy with never to be repeated punchlines’ - STV “Amazing” - NME SUITABLE FOR 16+

Another great hour of stand-up from of the UK circuits very best (award winning) comedians. Heartfelt, funny and as ever brutally honest this is the story of a huge shift in circumstances for Dan. A little over three years ago he was a single, fairly selfish party man-child/ comic and now he lives with his with his wife and small child in a sleepy seaside town, in his Grandparent’s old bungalow. *Warning* This show includes tentative references to mild sex and gentle drug use, but repeatedand gratuitous use of the word bungalow. “A superb compilation of brilliantly crafted stories written by someone who unquestionably has a keen and instinctive eye for comedy.” – BROADWAY BABY **** “Exciting and imaginative” – EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS SUITABLE FOR 16+
