Facts and Figures • 50% of our authors come from K.U.Leuven, while the other half are affiliated to other research institutes in Belgium or abroad. • We keep a title in print for at least 5 years and longer if sales allow. • The average list price of a scholarly monograph produced in paperback with LUP is just under 40 euros. • About half our books are in English, while the other half are in Dutch or other European languages (mainly French or German). • Our bi-monthly newsletter is sent out to approx. 3,000 subscribers; our website www.lup.be has more than 5,000 unique visitors per month. • LUP won the Flemish prize for Best Designed Academic Book twice in a row (2010 and 2011) for the series J.F.
