The Snack Bar is open Monday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday -Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Seating for the Snack Bar is available overlooking the golf course for your dining pleasure. The main kitchen is closed for business on Monday and Tuesday, at which time you are permitted to order from the Snack Bar.
CLUBHOUSE GUIDELINES Members or guests 16 years of age or older are permitted unaccompanied in the Clubhouse; all other members’ children and guests must be accompanied by a responsible adult with the exception of those children receiving haircuts in the Men’s Locker Room. In order to ensure your child’s safety or the safety of a guest, we ask that our younger visitors remain accompanied by an adult at all times.
DRESS CODE POLICY Acceptable attire should be in good taste, respectful of the Club’s traditions. It is the responsibility of each member to adhere to the dress code and to ensure that family members and guests do as well. The dress c o d e applies to children as well as adults unless otherwise defined. GOLF COURSE AND PRACTICE AREAS Only golf attire is acceptable. GRILL ROOM, 1906 BAR & PAVILION Golf attire is acceptable.
MEN’S AND LADIES’ LOCKER ROOMS, GOLF SHOP, SNACK BAR AND COMMONS In addition to golf attire, presentable denim clothing, y o g a a n d tennis apparel are acceptable. SAN RAFAEL ROOM, LIVING ROOM, TERRACE AND LIBRARY After 6 p.m., ladies are requested to wear appropriate attire. Men are requested to wear suits or blazers, collared shirts, and pants. Prior to 6 p.m. golf attire is acceptable.
GOLF ATTIRE Ladies Women’s shirts must be tucked in, unless designed to be worn outside. Skirts, shorts, capris, and pants are considered proper golf attire. The length of skirts or shorts should be no more than four inches above the back of the knee. Denim clothing, cargo pants and exposed midriffs are not permitted. Men Men’s shirts must have collars and sleeves and need to be tucked in. Pants or shorts at knee length are acceptable golf attire. Caps and visors must be worn with the brims facing forward. Denim clothing, cargo pants or shorts are not permitted.
UNACCEPTABLE ATTIRE IN ALL AREAS OF THE CLUB Clothes with holes and frayed ends are not permitted. Baggy or tight-fitting pants, leggings, cargo pants or shorts, beach footwear, beach attire, t-shirts, or tank tops are not permitted. Caps and hats may not be worn indoors.
PRIVATE PARTIES Members may hold private parties in any of our rooms in the Clubhouse, on the Commons or Pavilion Lawn, as well as sponsor non-member events. Members, associates, and their guests may attend private parties held at the Club. Members are responsible for costs, dress code compliance and conduct of their guests at all times. Annandale is a social / golf club. For your convenience, we have a Board Room available for business meetings, displaying papers, conducting conference calls, etc. An a la carte menu is available for parties with less than (12) people if arrangements are made with the Manager prior to the event. Members may access the Private Event Information Packet on our website. Private Room Request Forms are also available and should be returned to the Director of Events. For parties with 100 or more guests, please submit a letter to the House Committee for consideration. We require 48-hour notice should you require cancellation of attendance to a special event. For your convenience, all charges will be made to your Annandale Member Account. A statement will be provided after the event is complete.
GUESTS OF THE CLUBHOUSE As part of your membership, you are permitted to sponsor guests residing outside of Los Angeles County to use the Clubhouse facilities for up to two consecutive weeks in one calendar year. Sponsored guests will be issued a guest card in which charges during their visit with us will be made to the sponsoring members’ account. The sponsoring member will receive the charges on their next bill. Guest golf cards are also available. Please refer to the Golf Rules & Regulations for further details.
ALCOHOL & SMOKING Alcohol consumption is permitted on the Club premises by members and guests who are 21 years of age and possess a valid form of identification. Smoking is permitted on the Men’s Locker Room Patio, the Golf Course and in the Parking Lot.
PET POLICY Guide and/or Service Dogs are permitted throughout our facility.
ARTICLES FOR SALE Prior to the sale or advertisement of items in the Clubhouse or Golf Shop, authorization must be granted by the Board of Directors.
LOSS OF ARTICLES The Club assumes no responsibility for the loss of articles left in lockers, Golf Shop, dining areas, locker rooms, automobiles parked on property or anywhere else on the premises. Club personnel are instructed not to accept any articles for “safe keeping.” Golf clubs may be kept in club storage controlled by the Golf Shop.
CELL PHONE POLICY In order to provide our members with a relaxing experience, we kindly ask that members refrain from using cell phones in the Clubhouse or anywhere on the Golf Course. Cellular devices are permitted everywhere on the premises for e-mail and text messaging only and ringers must be set to silent.
GENERAL It is the members’ responsibility to make family, friends, and guests aware of the Club rules.
GOLF RULES AND REGULATIONS REGULATIONS GOVERNING GOLF PLAY The Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association, together with the local rules as printed on the backside of our Hole Location Sheet, or as posted throughout the Club, govern golf play at Annandale. These rules supersede all previous rules published and have been duly approved by the Board of Directors.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY All play will start off the #1 Tee no earlier than the following unless approved by the Golf Committee: Closed – Monday 7:30 a.m. – Tuesday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. – Saturday and Sunday No group shall start from other than the #1 Tee without specific permission from the Golf Shop or Starter. Social Associates are allowed golf privileges once a month and may bring up to three guests. Social Associates and spouses may also play once a month as a guest of another member. Standard green fees apply in all cases. Senior Emeritus Associates are allowed golf privileges consistent with a Regular Member. Regular Senior Associates are allowed golf privileges consistent with a Regular Member, Monday through Friday. On Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, green fees will apply. Non-Resident Associates are allowed golf privileges twelve (12) times per calendar year. The 12 rounds include rounds from both the member and spouse. If a Non-Resident Associate plays more than 12 rounds, they will be charged the applicable green fee. Dependent Children are afforded golf privileges in accordance with the membership status of their parents and may play subject to the discretion of the Golf Professionals, after demonstrating knowledge of golf etiquette and basic rules. Children under the age of 21 or unmarried adult children under the age of 24, while still pursuing a full-time degree program (Article VIII, Section 801 of the By-Laws) are considered dependent children. Tournament Play – Dependent children are not eligible to play in competitions set by the Golf Committee or AWGA. However, on an exception basis, they may fill in for a parent in Twilight Golf events, at the discretion of the Golf Professional or Event Chairman. Dependent Children are eligible to play in Junior Sanctioned events such as the Junior Club Championship and Jr. Team Play.
SECURING A STARTING TIME Starting times may be reserved for any day using the Annandale Website or APP ten (10) days in advance. Members may reserve a starting time through the Golf Shop seven (7) days in advance. Walkup play is allowed after checking in with the Golf Shop or Starter and no other play is scheduled.
HOLIDAY PLAY Holiday Play Days will mirror the Golf Play Rules of a Sunday. The following days are designated as holidays: President’s Day (Holiday Monday) Memorial Day (Holiday Monday) Independence Day Labor Day (Holiday Monday) Thanksgiving Day Friday after Thanksgiving
When open on a Holiday Monday, the golf course will be closed the following Tuesday for regularly scheduled maintenance.
PACE OF PLAY All groups are expected to keep pace with the group ahead and complete the round in 4 hours or less. Faster playing groups should be allowed to play through when appropriate. If a group has more than 1 completely open hole ahead, it must allow the group behind to play through if waiting. DECEMBER GOLF RULES (SPOUSE PRIORITY TIMES) Commencing after the second Tuesday in December and ending on the first day of January, spouses’ priority on Tuesdays and Thursdays shall be suspended. Tournament Green Fees: The Golf Committee or Head Golf Professional is authorized to waive green fees for authorized tournaments with entry fees for entrants or their guests. Family Green Fee Definition: To qualify as a Family Guest the guest must be a nondependent child or parent of the member.
GUESTS Guests are always to be accompanied by a member or associate when playing on the course. Guests not holding guest cards shall not be entertained on the golf course more than twelve (12) times per year.
If a member or an associate desire to entertain more than three (3) guests, the member or associate shall be required to first obtain the approval of the Golf Chair or Head Golf Professional. Guest Cards: Upon request, in writing, by members or associates, Guest Cards may be issued by the Board of Directors for a period of two consecutive weeks to guests living outside Los Angeles or Orange Counties. A member or associate may not request more than two Guest Cards for golf in any calendar year. Guest Cart holders are not entitled to invite guests to play golf. Guest Card holders will be charged a $200 green fee. Courtesy Cards: Holders of Courtesy Cards and members of their immediate families may play golf without payment of green fees.
TOURNAMENTS Men and Women with provisional handicaps shall have the same status as those with regular handicaps as far as eligibility to play in Golf Committee sponsored competitions. The following are to be considered “Member Tournaments” and shall be regulated by the Golf Committee: President’s Cup Keith Spalding Men’s Club Championship Annandalia Senior Club Championship Holiday Classic Four-Ball Net Match Play Junior Club Championship Husband and Wife Championship Father/Son/Daughter Championship The Golf Committee may schedule other competitions which shall be classified as “Events.” Regular Members and Juniors Associates will have priority when the number of entrants is limited. The Golf Committee shall establish a date prior to the event when others may indicate a desire to play in such competition. If the field is not filled prior to the cutoff date, additional entries will be confirmed in the following order: 1. Regular Senior Associates and Non-Resident Associates 2. Social II Associates 3. Social I-R Associates 4. Social I-J Associates 5. Social I Associates
Associates may not enter a Tournament as a Guest of a Member. Except for sibling competitions, the minimum age for participation in tournaments is 21. AWGA will establish tournaments and events for women golfers and then be approved by the Golf Committee and the Board of Directors. Mixed Foursome Guest Days: Mixed Foursome Guest Sunday events shall be scheduled by the Golf Committee. In such tournaments, any member or associate with golfing privileges may invite guests who have established handicaps. Entry fees will be charged and green fees for all participants shall be waived.
GOLF TRANSPORTATION Golf Carts: As a convenience to members and associates are available for rent when playing golf. Golf carts are limited to no more than two occupants and may only be operated by an individual with a valid driver’s license.

Twilight Cart Fee: A Twilight Cart Fee will be charged when there is 1.5 Hours or less of sunlight available for golf. Push/Pull Carts: The use of pull type caddy carts on the golf course is not permitted. Orange Flag Carts: To qualify for an Orange Flag Cart a member must be over the age of 70 or have a doctor’s note detailing why a one is needed. This note must be presented to the Golf Shop and is good for 30 days.
CADDIES One caddie is to accompany each group with two or more players prior to 12:00 p.m. (Tuesday through Thursday) and prior to 1:00 p.m. (Friday through Sunday). Any member may not carry their own clubs prior to 12:00 p.m. if a caddie is available. Dependent members are exempt. One caddie is to accompany any group that has two or more guests regardless of the starting time. A group may not opt out of taking a caddie if there are two or more guests in a group. A group may opt out of taking a caddie and will be charged $25 unless the group has two or more guests.

POSTING SCORES It is the member or associate’s responsibility to see that their score is posted promptly after each round. The World Handicap System updates the player’s handicap index each day. If you play 7 to 12 holes, you must post a 9-hole score. If you play 13 holes or more, you must post an 18-hole score.
CELL PHONES Annandale Golf Club does not allow the use of cell phones in the clubhouse or anywhere on the golf course. Physicians, in case of emergency, may do so discretely. Digital devices may be used for email and text messaging only.
CLUB EMPLOYEE & CADDIE PLAY Club Employee & Caddie play will be at the discretion of the Golf Professional and/or the General Manager. The player must check in with the Starter and follow all regulations governing play.
GENERAL Members or associates shall not reprimand employees of the Golf Shop but may register complaints or suggestions concerning employees to the Club Professional, the Golf Committee and/or the General Manager. Complaints concerning other players conduct, speed of play or failure to follow regulations should be made in writing to the Golf Committee immediately. For security purposes, members are not permitted to store their golf bag and clubs in their locker.
