The graphic novel is used as a research tool through which to build an empathic relationship with a future project site. Thanks to strong contrasts of light and shadow and the use of perspective (which constructs not only the images but reality itself), the comic retraces the history of Fertilia, a city of foundation whose dream remains in the memories of the exiles who still live there and in the rarefied and metaphysical atmospheres of the city itself.
