La vita e’ bella!

It’s been a year full of fabulous and fun, fiasco’s and family folly.

As is customary, Stephanie got the 4-year itch and found a new house. Jamie is a total

DREAMBOAT and caved in .... With stipulations. He has final approval on all paint colors and major interior purchases. Allegedly. The

Mrs. has taken more of a “ask for

forgiveness, not permission” stance on the afore-mentioned

ridiculous, swarmy rules.The great news on their new

waterfront villa is that it has huge, old trees, and tons,

tons, tons of storage. BRAAAVO!!!!

The bad news is that it’s not a villa at all, but a regular old house, has several huge, old

trees (Imagine the fun of cleaning up

10,000 bags of autumn leaves. Every

weekend.), and so much storage that

Stephanie is sure to become a hoarder.

Note: She is toootally going for it, as

she sees this as her last chance to

break into reality tv.

Unfortunately that whole “Price Is Right” gig didn’t really pan out. It’s a shame because she was really looking forward to “coming on down” and the promise of a Showcase Showdown.

OK ....... Get ready, here comes the part where we go on and on about our sweet, funny, uuber handsome child:

Tre is all about fire engines, the farm, and his Uncle John. He had a great time “tuxing it up” at Ashley and Matt’s wedding (which was awesoooome, and so is Matt! We love having him in our family. Well done Ash!) Punks still loves music and has a passion for Vivaldi .... If, in fact, that’s who wrote “She’ll Be Comin’ ‘Round The Mountain” and “I’ve Been Workin’ On The Railroad”. Apparantely he is also in the market for a golf cart as he tries to test drive various models whenever possible.

As you can imagine,

Jamie is a

FABULOUS father, and as it turns out, QUITE the leaf picker-uper!

He stays busy, busy, busy writing and speaking on crop insurance,

working in Chicago, and moving furniture from one room to another .... and then back again to it's original position. He also Tweets. That's right, Jamie Wasemiller Tweets! It's rumored that he is also very on-board with this whole "purchasing a golf cart" nonsense.

Stephanie’s days fly by getting situated in the new house and running late, thinking about working out and tricking Jamie into thinking soy products are, in fact, "meat". This last venture has been quite UNSUCCESSFUL. Here’s to your year being filled with lasagna from Linos, grass sans leaves, shoes from Milan, the best of health, hardest of laughs, and gelato, gelato, gelato! Now that, dear ones is AMORE’!
