Particularly focused in the field of neuroarchitecture - “ to accept that our minds can include aspects of our physical and cultural environments means that the kinds of environment we create can alter our minds and our capacity for thought, emotion and behaviour.” .

Each space is perceived as that of multiple users (MULTI - INTERACTIONAL SPACES) owing to the connection between all of them and because of the presence of a medically-ill member who requires regular attention. Spaces which contain a constant flow of movement and activity enable this and makes way for functionality as per user requirements, as well as aesthetics. VISUAL CONNECTION becomes a key element throughout the narrative and empowers a safer environment for the family. The memories of the departed loved one is inscribed in the walls of the building, their essence permeating throughout the house. The spaces are imagined as their extensions, breathing life into the voids that their memories left behind.

LIGHT is the fabric from which each space is woven, it redefines the narrative told to the users and its absence leaves the space hollow. The materiality of the space becomes the canvas, and light becomes the painter creating beautiful canvases that open up spaces and lift the mood. 3.2.2
