World Kindness Day I dream about a kind world. I dream about a day that encourages individuals to overlook boundaries, race and religion.

I open my laptop and start to search if there is any day in our world celebrating Kindness. Yes: 13 November. Here is what I found about it: - It was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, a coalition of nations' kindness NGOs. - There is a Declaration of Support for World Kindness. - Singapore was the 1st country celebrating it in 2009, then it spread in the world. - Australia placed World Kindness Day on the National School Calendar for over 9000 schools and on the Council Calendar of Events.

How you could celebrate this day? I have some ideas: - You can take a minute to be kind to yourself. - Give extra hugs. - Do something positive for someone else. - Mind your manners. - Do the right thing. - Share your kindness story with the world. - Adopt a pet or foster a pet. - Plant a tree. - Write a positive post-it. - Write down someone’s best qualities (like your mom, dad, a colleague etc.). - Write a positive comment. - Ask an Elderly about his/ her past.

I’m sure you can find many other ways to spread kindness!
