What is NBA Accreditation?

“NBA” or “National Board of Accreditation” is a renowned accreditation body that accredits various technical courses and programs.

What are the Key Steps to Ensure NBA Accreditation Successfully?

Step 1 It is crucial to ensure that the programs and courses that you are applying for are approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education).

Full-time programs are only considered for the accreditation process and not part-time ones.

Step 2 The next step is one of the most important ones which includes creating an error-free and clear self-assessment report.

There are certain criteria based on which the scores are evaluated which should be done in a factual and exact manner.

Step 3 This is the step where you have to submit the SAR(Self-Assessment Report) by downloading the form and filling in the given details.

By logging in to the eNBA portal you can submit the report followed by paying the fee and then proceed to provide three dates for NBA site visit.

Step 4 In the next step, you have to keep 22 programspecific documents along with 17 institutionspecific documents ready.

As the NBA evaluation team would visit the college to create an evaluation report the documents are going to be needed.

Step 5 In this step, the evaluation report that has been prepared in the previous step is given to the institution by the moderation team.

The institute is required to provide a proper response within 10 days; the evaluation and the response both are provided to EAC(Evaluation and Accreditation Committee)

Final Step In the final step after reviewing all the reports and recommendations by EAC, the Academic Advisory Committee takes the final decision.

The decision for granting accreditation can be for either three or six years and it can also deny accreditation if it does not fulfill all the parameters.
