This is a final production from Graphic Storytelling at The Animation Workshop, VIA University College, 2025.

The apartment building on 13 Leiter Street is being torn down and replaced.

In an act of protest, building resident and photojournalist Nasir interviews his neighbors in a series titled “The People of 13 Leiter Street”. However, with a marriage down the drain, there’s little left tying him to the building.

Lilli, the Norwegian architect designing the replacement, is busy staying true to her own creative voice. Still, her endless worknights, frequent eye drop usage and transcendental meditation can only get her so far. As her and Nasir’s paths cross, she can no longer ignore the real world.

GLASS, CONCRETE & STONE is a story about feeling displaced. It’s about being weighed down by nostalgia, and the consequences of rootless ambition.
