24 Cadogan Square Residence, Knightsbridge

I worked on a residential project at Tim Greatrex Architects called 24 Cadogan Square as Project Architect. This is a very large 100 room grade II listed house. This involved coordinating client meetings, listed building officers, building regs officers and regular visits to site. I also built up and maintained an incredibly detailed revit model which was phased to show existing and proposed construction.

dMFK Architects, London Synagogue, London

I worked on a synagogue project for dMFK architects, building the model up and creatng 3D fly-through animations.

While at dMFK I also developed new procedures for the studio including VR and set up their BIM standards.

I led a project for a 43 unit, 8400m2 multi unit apartment building in Hayes, London.

This involved liasing with the developer and building the proposed revit model from scratch. I took the project from RIBA stage 0-5. I managed a library of element types such as walls and windows and coordinated the architectural design with the rest of the design team - structure and MEP.

I regularly used dynamo to manage the large amount of data. One such use was to batch update the apartment types with new walls and families. The apartments were created as linked models to keep everything smooth and lightweight.

I worked on a skyscraper in London in Wembley, 21500m2, 23 floors and 93 apartments. We were a team of 3 people and took the project from stage 2-5. I built the revit model from scratch then managed it througout the project duration. In addition I was in charge of windows, doors, wall types and structural coordination. During stage 5 I was working mostly on concrete coordination between the structural engineers and the contractor.

There was a large amount of data to manage so I created numerous dynamo scripts to streamline our working processes. This included scripts to automatically renumber elements after we made design changes. I also created scripts to automate view and sheet creation.

Carmody Groarke Architects, London BIM Management & Dynamo

Since March 2020 I have worked as a BIM manager for Carmody Groarke. I have been responsible for managing studio-wide BIM procedures and model management.

As part of this I also developed a suite of Dynamo scripts (pictured above) as and when they were needed for specific project tasks. This varied between form-generation, data management and simple time saving scripts.

Design/ build of network structure in gallery

Before working on the faraday pavillion I worked for CITA (Centre for Information Technology and Architecture) in Copenhagen. CITA is an innovative research environment exploring the emergent intersections between architecture and digital technologies.

I helped design a structure made from hundreds of unique beams made from a fibreglass composite.

I created a grasshopper script which could output the 500 or so unique beam outlines (including local construction info with labels) to be lasercut. The defintion needed to be robust enough to cope with constant design changes.
