Objective • To find if there in any variation in the growth performance of local goats maintained under different housing management systems in southern districts of Karnataka.

Materials and methods

• Goats reared under two different housing systems was identified • 100 animals in each group were selected and growth traits were measured and analysed • Identifying the constraints and suggesting suitable recommendation Extension conference VCS 2019

ďƒ˜ Two housing systems of rearing was selected A.Raised shed built with the locally available materials like bamboo for flooring and coconut or areca leaves for roof.
