OUR VISION

HHRD is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations around the world.

In addition to our emergency relief efforts in natural or man-made disasters, we also work on long term relief and development programs.

EMERGENCY RELIEF: INDONESIA

SYRIAN REFUGEES

ROHINGYA REFUGEES

Located in what is known as the "Pacific Ring of Fire" Indonesia is prone to earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and floods.

HHRD has been providing emergency relief since 2009 with water, food, shelter and medical assistance through vetted partner NGOs on the onset of any disaster.

Amid severe turmoil and human rights violation, HHRD is working through HHRD’s established Jordan office with the Syrian Refugees in Jordan and Lebanon. HHRD sponsors Syrian Refugee Orphans, Skills Development Program, Ramadan and Udiyah/Qurbani Distribution, Education Support Program and Winter Relief Program.

The country of Myanmar (Burma) has been marked by one of the longest running civil wars between ethnic groups with 1.1 million Rohingya Muslims living in the Burmese State of Rakhine facing apartheid like conditions since 1942. The mass exodus for Rohingya refugees to Cox’s Bazaar Bangladesh has resulted in over 1 million living camps without proper essentials. HHRD is assisting these refugees with its Orphan Support, Global Zabiha, In Kind Gifts, Emergency Relief, Shelter and Food Distribution, and Health Care programs.

HHRD USA has been working in Haiti with partner NGOs and staff to provide long term rehabilitation since 2010 with programs such as Emergency Relief, Youth for Haiti, In-Kind Gifts, Orphan Support, Seasonal Food/Meat Distributions, Shelter Village/Housing, Medical Camps and Skills Development. Over this 9-year journey they have formed an alliance and niche within the local community where they are warmly welcomed.

HHRD’s prompt response to the African Drought Crisis in East Africa led to the establishment of our office in Kenya in 2011. Projects include: In-Kind Gift, Orphan Support, Seasonal, Skill Development, Water for Life, Education Support, Healthcare (Mobile clinics) and Emergency response HHRD has recently opened an elementary school for Orphan Children in Mogadishu, Somalia

The devastating earthquake of 2005 was HHRD’s first humanitarian assistance project; and has continued to work on several programs and projects throughout 35 districts Pakistan as a registered International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO). Since the floods of 2010, HHRD has invested over $6 million annually in key developmental sectors of education and training, healthcare and nutrition, water and sanitation hygiene, disaster relief, and much more.
