SZÁNDÉKOS VAKSÁG|SZERELEM A legérzékenyebb terület, ahol nem merünk felelősséget vállalni: a szerelem. Ez a legfélelmetesebb terep, ahol mernünk kéne „igazságviszonyba” kerülni magunkkal és a másikkal is. Ez a Szándékos vakság | SZERELEM című, új kiállításom témája. Alkotásaim központjában az elengedés problematikája áll. Hat szó: lemosnom, elhordanom, levennem, elhagynom, elfelejtenem, szeretnem. A Szándékos vakság | SZERELEM képeit különböző technikákkal készítettem: akvarell, kínai papír, természetes anyagok, papírinstallációk és videó. Próbálva ezzel a szerelem sokrétűségét kutatni. Végső konklúzióként egészen addig távolítani a tárgyam, amíg lehetetlen lesz a közelsége. A szerelem. Nő, nagyméretű papírképeken, változatos terekben, virággal és más szereplőkkel (bárányok, halak, békák stb.). A hely metaforikus: egy ország, ahol élünk. Munkáimban eddig is reflektáltam kortárs irodalmi alkotásokra, a most választott témához pedig Szabó Imola Julianna tavaly megjelent VARRATOK című verspróza kötetéből merítettem a képeim és installációim címeit és konceptuális alapanyagát.

WILLFUL BLINDNESS|LOVE One of the slipperiest areas in our life where we do not dare to take full responsibility is love. Love is the scariest place because here we are supposed to get into a „veracity-triangulation” with ourselves and the other. In essence, this is the theme behind my new exhibition Willful Blindness | L0VE.ooooooooooooooooooooooo The governing principle that subtends these pieces is the issue of letting go. In six phrases: washing it down, hauling it away, taking it off, abandoning it, forgetting it, loving it.oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo The pieces in Willful Blindness | L0VE were made by using various techniques: water-colour, rice-paper, natural materials, paper installations and video. The use of these variegated techniques is an attempt at addressing the complexity of love. To try, in effect, to abstract away from the subject to such an extent that ultimately, in the final analysis, its intimate proximity is lost. It's love.oooooooooooooooooooo There is a figure of a woman on large-size papers who appears in different scenes, with flowers or other symbolic figures (sheep, fish, frogs, etc.). The space is metaphorical as well: alluding to the country where we live. I have used and reflected on contemporary literary works since the beginning of my career. This time the inspiration for the titles and conceptual themes for my pictures and installations comes from Szabó Imola Julianna's collection of poetry titled VARRATOK that was published last year.
