AFTER THEIR FATHER PASSES

away, two siblings Nathan (Nathan Wallace) and Mira (Jenna Rose Sander), return to their old coastal family farm to sell the land. However, darker forces may be at play that will force them to reanalyze their relation to their ancestor’s land, confront their own demons, the tenebrous depths of the sea, and the vengeful secrets that surround them.

Writer/director, and co-star, Finnerty, has made a striking and powerful debut feature, tight as a corset, sharp as a needle. Tackling the oppressive shroud of ingrained misogyny and the spectres of paranoia, delusion, and mental illness, she’s fabricated a disquieting, dream-like portrait of injustice and vengeance that will linger long in the mind, like the film’s final haunting gaze.
